Great video as usual Han. I really love Vivo colors to be honest, what was dissappointing was it's stabilization in videos and night video. Magic 4 would win for me only if they wouldn't have used that much saturation in almost every segement. If they fix this in the upcoming updates just like Xiaomi 11 ultra at its release time, not much will buy this phone for camera usage only. But you know what they say, more competition better results for the costumers.
Yeah, Honor should release an update that fixes the oversaturation issue and the night mode performance, then they will excel above the rest of the competition
I think at the moment in night time Vivo is unbeatable with the ISP V1+ chip, so Honor is no competition there but in general I agree if Honor fixes white balance and saturation it would be very close to Vivo except for night time as I said. In zoom photos and portrait it beats Vivo

People with normal view would think magik killed vivo in selfie video but vivo is the 1st android phone to have better hdr and low light in video than iPhones
Judging on your impressions from the general comparison video of these two phones, I am assuming that the Honor Magic 4 Pro will come out on top but the Vivo won't be too far behind. The Vivo will definitely dominate in night mode scenarios but other than that I am expecting the Honor to be superior. If you were to compare the honor magic 4 pro with the standard Vivo X80, which would bea better choice? They are both closer in price here in Malaysia than with the X80 pro.
Top work.Hardware,isp,software all necessary for better camera results and experience.It is a shame now big names releases phones nowhere near they advertises.Although they improve with updates but prices drop as well

What a roller coaster 🎢 comparison. As i expected since Han said Honor Magic 4 Pro manage to give solid fight in some condition and while watching this video I'm shock how Honor manage to give better results in daytime ultrawide and when there is human subjects on the frame. The fact that Vivo clearly look intentionally limit X80 Pro camera performance by not optimized its software algorithm plus still give poor 8mp periscope and 1080p non stabilized selfie makes me agreed with Han that this X80 Pro is nothing special, better to get X70 Pro+ or buy the Magic 4 Pro since it's camera performance is not far behind even beat X80 Pro in some scenario. Thanks Han for show this truth, btw out of all aspects i agreed with you except for human subjects where i prefer Honor due to its skin tone, but yeah in the end of the day its preference. Its 7 - 7 for me, what about you #HTTsquad ?

I was very optimistic about the camera performance of vivo x80 pro, but the phone disappointed me in the first selfie video, the selfie performance of Vivo X80 pro is very poor, the stabilization is not so good, x80 pro perform like a mid range smartphone, disappointed😞 I expected more, There are many more places where Vivo should do more work and solve problems through software updates, in some places Vivo T * is not working properly, Vivo's zoom performance isn't as good as the Magic4 pro's, again disappointment😞, vivo Human photo I like light compared to magic4 pro but but but human portrait photos way better on magic4 pro and i also like light vivo selfi photos, honor magic4 pro done well, In some places I like the Honor Magic Pro performance a lot, such a amazing camera comparison video as always you do vhai, thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️

Yeah, if I was to get any flagship phone I would use GCAM. But most people in real life are not prepared to install GCAM. so I think this is why Han sticks to the OEM camera application and processing.
Vivo doing good but Vivo should have performed better in some places, like selfie photo stabilization, zoom, portrait photos etc, and T* is not work properly, If these problems are solved then x8pro camera will be the best I believe
Interesting comparison. Expected the x80pro to win but even though it did it kind of still disappointed me. I place the most value on the human subject photos and I preferred those on the magic 4 pro, especially the portraits which looked really good. Nighttime though is a pretty clear win for the x80pro. Video too was a bit better on the x80 pro but it also looks a little over sharpened which I'm not a great fan of. So far we haven't seen any real improvement on this year's flagships over last year's camera wise. I don't think any of them are that enticing at full price. However, I think the super flagships are coming in the next couple of months or so and we'll probably see a new Sony flagship sensor on the Xiaomi 12 ultra. Will be interesting to see if any major improvements are made in the second half of the year
@@anwarmiabd Probably based on the x70pro+ being very good at the time. Maybe subconsciously i expected an improvement but there hasn't really been any since the x70 pro+. The hardware is probably at its limit. The x90 pro+ will bring much stronger hardware so maybe that might bring some improvement

@@anwarmiabd Yeah, they seemed to intend to release an x80 pro+ but I'm sure Han is probably right. Probably they have reached the limit with the GNV. The current rumours about the x90 pro plus are that it will come with the imx989 (or at least a 1" sensor) so it should have a lot more potential. I don't have any info about the launch date but I guess it might be a bit earlier than March, maybe. Normally the x series updates every 6/7 months or so. Not that surprised about the Xiaomi 12t pro. It's the same as the k50 ultra after all except for the main sensor. Not really a proper flagship. Han says what he thinks regardless of the brand which is great. I don't think he judges a phone by the brand. Rather he judges each phone on its own merits as a phone. He liked the Xiaomi 12s pro a lot but doesn't like the 12t pro. I think it's obvious that the Xiaomi 12s pro is much better so not really that surprising. Han has the benefit of comparing the 12t pro against other Xiaomi phones and other brands so he can form a judgement based on that.
Through this video, it has been revealed to us that Vivo's true camera might will be revealed to us through the Vivo X80 Pro+ The Honor did exceptionally well in all categories except night mode. Although the Vivo is slightly ahead overally for now, with the release of the X80 Pro+ they will be far ahead. Selfies are better on the Honor, portraits are more life-like on the Honor but sharper on the Vivo, zoom is way better in the Honor, and main camera shots are more of a matter of personal preference. For me white balance and way to punchy colours in daytime and indoor ruins everything on Honor. I don't like unnatural photos and they look extremely unnatural. Also in the Videos in the beginning everything was red. It's the same as in the normal X80 which is also disqualified because of strange white balance for me! But I know the white balance and punchy colour thing is down to personal preference and if you like that it's completely different story for you which I can't can't criticize, it's good that everybody has different taste as the world would be boring if everybody had the same taste!

As for me the skintones and details on the skin is better on the honor magic as it doesn't over beautify it (I don't know why vivo change its algorithm I used to love vivo x70 pro plus human photography) but other than that I agree with everything you said han! Honestly I didn't expect X80 Pro to be better than X70 Pro+ in camera performance as it has the same hardware, but it's disappointing that it's worse in some points. Especially ultra wide are worse than on X70 Pro+ and zoom photos are still a big weakness. Although I think we have to give them some time to upgrade the software. Also I think there is an massive improvement in video quality of the rear camera, because the videos I saw from X70 Pro+ were really not good especially in low light, although I don't know if I have seen videos with the latest software of it. But I've seen video footage of the X80 Pro which wouldn't been possible on X70 Pro+ at least at the software Version I know. And I think the price is ok as you get the newest chipset and a bigger battery, a better finger print sensor and faster charging than in X70 Pro+!
Wat a mess quality and edge detection of human subject in X80pro, zoom quality is bad too, also front facing video camera is a big let down for X80pro but I still prefer X80pro. Tnk u 4 the good comparison ❤️👍
Skin tone looks terrible imo. We can see some over artificial enhancements here and there especially in HDR but looks very attractive. With some edit we fan make it better. Upcoming x80 pro plus will solve these issues and make it best(hopefully)

Zess mode should not be enabled in sharp lighting conditions. It should only be used at sunrise and sunset or indoors.

The Honor did exceptionally well in all categories except night mode. Although the Vivo is slightly ahead overally for now, with the release of the X80 Pro+ they will be far ahead.
Selfies are better on the Honor, portraits are more life-like on the Honor but sharper on the Vivo, zoom is way better in the Honor, and main camera shots are more of a matter of personal preference.

For me white balance and way to punchy colours in daytime and indoor ruins everything on Honor. I don't like unnatural photos and they look extremely unnatural. Also in the Videos in the beginning everything was red. It's the same as in the normal X80 which is also disqualified because of strange white balance for me!
But I know the white balance and punchy colour thing is down to personal preference and if you like that it's completely different story for you which I can't can't criticize, it's good that everybody has different taste as the world would be boring if everybody had the same taste!

@@eduard6450 because he knows somebody who is working there! They tried to get 150 points but didn't make it. They are waiting until the Snapdragon 8Gen1+ will be released thats obvious! Everyone knows it and that's what Han also kind of confirmed. But I think Vivo won't release the X80 Pro+ globally!

Hello Bro Han , you said earlier that Honor Magic 4 Pro has better camera than Vivo X80 Pro but in this comparison video Vivo X80 Pro wins the battle. Yeah i think both of smartphone are good enough for most people but they are not the best in camera department.

7-7 in my tally. I disagree on the human photography. As for me the skintones and details on the skin is better on the honor magic as it doesn't over beautify it (I don't know why vivo change its algorithm I used to love vivo x70 pro plus human photography) but other than that I agree with everything you said han! Honestly I didn't expect X80 Pro to be better than X70 Pro+ in camera performance as it has the same hardware, but it's disappointing that it's worse in some points. Especially ultra wide are worse than on X70 Pro+ and zoom photos are still a big weakness. Although I think we have to give them some time to upgrade the software.
Also I think there is an massive improvement in video quality of the rear camera, because the videos I saw from X70 Pro+ were really not good especially in low light, although I don't know if I have seen videos with the latest software of it. But I've seen video footage of the X80 Pro which wouldn't been possible on X70 Pro+ at least at the software Version I know.
And I think the price is ok as you get the newest chipset and a bigger battery, a better finger print sensor and faster charging than in X70 Pro+!

Wat a mess quality and edge detection of human subject in X80pro, zoom quality is bad too, also front facing video camera is a big let down for X80pro but I still prefer X80pro. Tnk u 4 the good comparison ❤️👍
Skin tone looks terrible imo. We can see some over artificial enhancements here and there especially in HDR but looks very attractive. With some edit we fan make it better. Upcoming x80 pro plus will solve these issues and make it best(hopefully)
