It's a great overviev of WOT 2022. Three battles and all quick simulators (2x "3-15" and 1x "15-3"). Even with lower tiers this situation is permanent. So it may be difficult to present tanks in battles because are too fast. It's a team game after all, and sometimes even a very good player like Skill has little influence on the end result.
I still enjoy watching a Skill video from time to time but I have stopped playing at the end of December. The game has become a 15-5 simulator for rich tank collectors. The recent sales of leFH and Pz IIJ show how much WG cares about anyone without a deep wallet. This game is beyond P2W now.

Asking for VK 30.01 (H) day 38.
I had this tank when it was still rated as a heavy tank. When they dropped it down to a medium they did everyone a favor. It still had it's awesome gun and it still retained it's armor which is good for a medium, but poor for a heavy. I mainly use this tank because of it's higher penetration without resorting to gold ammo. In WOT today it seems that most of the tanks you come up against are premiums with Stalinium armor which no one can pen. The gun on this tank can pen within reason and it can do it cheaply for us FTP players!
Really old WoT players remember when the VK3001 was a medium before being moved to the heavy line. God it must have been at least 5+ years when they did that.
yes, the armor is sometimes a problem for the lower tiers, best new example it Pawlack anf the follow up tech tree. even with same tier tanks frontally they are troublesome with their good armor and few and smal weak spots. and this is the point the VK30.01H shines with its high penetration.
The VK3001H is the 1st tank I've 3 marked, that gun can fire straight through the front of an Oh-Ni!
I've also marked the Cavalier, a complete turd...
I LOVE Vk 30.01H for me the best tier V medium tank by dar, and my most played one. Second place for t34
VK 30.01 H is my favorite tire 5 medium tank. It is my first 3-mark vehicle and once I did 9 kills 5,3k damage with it. Love it
VK 30.01 H is used to grind credits for FTP. Very little need for gold spam

I started playing this tank when I saw the Iyouxin video encouraging me to 3 mark it. He was right. It’s fantastic.
That thing was a tier 6 medium back in the day, running like 50 or more km/h with panther turret and 88 or 75 gun. I think it also had the option to mount the conic gun too.

Love the Pz IV H! It’s my most played tank by a long shot, and I 3-marked it with the derp mostly F2P :D

The 75/55 gun on the VK is a revelation. I've had great games using it and you actually feel confident that you can contribute when you are bottom tier. I 3-marked this tank last year on the NA server.
I understand VK because it wasnt that long ago when Leopard 1 was top of the tree, and also for me it is one of the most enjoyable tier 5 tanks, not the strongest one but it is very forgiving because of the gun and mobility
Skiiiiiil, you are reading the Sir Hackepeter wrong - it is not about Hacker, it is German name for a specific ground meat (pork), which is eaten raw, yes raw pork! In some areas of Germany it is called 'Mett' (this word is sometimes used for some other meat products, though). It is meat ground together with some fat to give it its texture and taste. VK 30.01 H is epic. It is the first tank and so far only tank i got my 3rd gunmark on.

T-34 is all time good to play as it is easily the best and most versatile medium tank in tier 5, even including most premiums. For me only Pz III/IV comes close for non premium tanks.
Pz IVH and VK30.01H i think got boosted by top of the tree for Pz VII and Leopard 1 (and maybe E100 too). I have seen them quite often and played myself too. Both tanks I recognize as depending on situation much more then T-34 especially when palyed with derp guns.
Pz IVH was popular before HE nerf with derp gun and then went a little in hidding.
VK30.01H i have seen often with other guns too, 105mm derp gun like Pz IVH and with 75mm/L70 also used on VK 30.02M and Panther. VK30.01H is a long grind to get elite in unlocking all options and the 2 follow up tanks.

My top 3 would be Pz. IV H is definitely there, also the T-34. and i dont know, maybe M4 sherman? But since you said its really surprising... I dont know. I will stick with these
Before the lower tier buff, I got my first Radley Walter's medal in the Pz. IV H, 8 kills in 8 shots, though I had to ram the last one, too. Because of the spaced armor, Pz IV H should shoot AP vs Pz IV H.
Or load gold and aim for flat frontal surfaces or hatch on top of it...

Skill! Isn't VK part of the Pz. VII line, which is one of this month's top of the tree? Maybe this is the reason, why it has so many battles recently.
vk 30 01 H, i think that is first, bcs recently there was top of tree to e100, also its tier 6 is great for tournaments
pz4h is gonna be high up on the list because of the tech tree discount for the last month or so, m4 sherman and t34 also probably high up
I remember liking the VK 30.01 H (and no, I didn't guess it, I thought it might the M4A1) back in the day when I was grinding through it. When it was a Heavy tank. Never played it after the totally necessary and logical reclassification, during which trhey also killed the VK P...
In the past VK 30.01 H used to be a very fast med with schmalturm turret and VK36's guns. It was great
VK 30.01 is popular cos it leads both to Leopard 1 and E50M I believe

I've recently marked the VK 30.01 H and boy does this gun troll hard. It's great when it hits but it hits only when fully aimed. Snap shots are a big no no and also armor is quite unreliable

The VK 30.01H really surprised me too. Was thinking more about the T67 or the M4 but I haven't played those in a very long time. T67 should still be as broken as it used to be but I have no clue about the M4 nowdays.
He was only looking into the medium tanks here.
M4 is still fine. People slept on the 76mm because the Derp was basically idiot proof. 76mm is much better for consistent damage and performance.
@@onebigfatguy yes, M4A1 is not bad and the derp gun still can be usefull - got oneshoted in M8 the day before by M4 :-(. I prefer the consistent damage of the standard guns as the HE lost lots of its power in the nerf. Only 1 tank i play with HE often: P26/40 with 75mm gun, 70mm pen HE. Enough to hit most tier 4's and some tier 5 & 6 even in the front hard for 175 dmg. nearly the damage t34-85M does with AP.

Load gold, hit KV-1 into flat piece of its frontal armor and watch his HP disappear...
Agree T-34 is fun as programmed with >30 rounds per minute from 57mm gun... unfortunately even godlike Skill was not able to overcome 15-3 simulator programming bug. Peace with strength.

T34 is one of my favourite tanks, i once did 3.5k damage with 7 kills with the small gun. Ofc we lost as 9 players on my team did 0 lol. Almost 3 marked it too 93.5%
T34 is ranked as epic by Skill, but the Chinese Type T34 is playable. Same stats but one is Russian and one is not.
KV-1 with the 57mm is hilarious. I've got a rammer and vents on mine with the 57, just click 2 and laugh at how many credits I just used up taking half the other teams HP.

I think the most populat one is Panzer IV H. Then T34 second. 25TP third.

I like playing mid tier tanks but it's become a nightmare recently with all the leFH in the game now. That thing is obscene.

Almost never play low tier, however wish I had the Pz.Kpfw. V/IV. I don't have it and can't buy it for gold or real money.

Until i got my Pz V/IV, VK 30.01H was my most played medium. It's perfect for beginners, imagen you have no clue of the game and the tank provides a good gun, no gold need, has a bit armor and is too slow to dream about risky flanking stuff, so you stay in the middle, you support your team, never lead, because you are just too slow and the gun provides a gunplay over distance. In a way, the same gameplay as a Valantine on Tier III, a Matilda on Tier IV. As a beginner you are "forced to play correct, for your level" with these tanks.
All three of the tanks you mentions are my frontline tanks! My Valentine has a win rate of 64%, my Matilda is at 57% and my VK 30.01H is at 52%. With these tanks I'm usually in the top three for XP after a battle and lots of times I get High Caliber with them! They have decent armor, so I play VERY aggressively with them!

Pz 4h????? I deeply have to disagree. Sold it for another waaay better: PZ III/IV. I struggled for months to arrive at 92% in pz4H... I needed 6 days to mark III/IV and I even topped 2nd in Europe.
This is for me a straight fact. It's better in every single important aspect. The only difference it has no derp, but the huge flexibility and trollish armor...
yes popular and only in the last 2 month. in a short time like this the top of the tree can make the difference. so T-34 shines as it does not "need" this boost

However t34 is not a tank for me. There was already a debate about it in another skill vidéo. I really feel its alpha and deoression are too low for my play style. This is why i preffer pz 3/4. It can inflict 25 extra alpha and normally there's not those 2 3 seconds to shot again with t34...
I always struggle with it, but with pz i feel confortable
let me guess.. maybe the first tank you play T34, the secondary tank would be Pz IV H, and the third tank you play probably M4A1
Surprised that T67 is not in the top 3, or maybe the AMX ELC bis.
VK 30.01 H is needed for Tiger and Panther... so I can understand why lots of people play it. So many new players aim for these tanks until they understand that the Soviet tree is the way to go.

The VK was top of the tree and people just want to get up the line. That's the only reason. Other than the gun, there is nothing good about the tank.

With so many bots in the lower tiers I suspect you couldn't get an honest result.
Sorry Sir, but bots? yes, in the lower tiers you will find players with lesser skill as the are new to the game, but please do some tier 4, tier 5 and tier 6 battles and then compare the player stats to the higher tiers. don't be surpriessed to find to find players with less than 500 battles and 55+ winrate (second account or reroll?), find players with 30k+ battles and find "bots" with wtr ratings of 7k+.
Don't underestimate the players in the lower and medium tiers. And here i don't talk about the seal cluppers in tier 1 to tier 3
@@edelmann4388 I think you misunderstand me. In order to fill out games in the lower ties, at least on the NA server, it is quite clear that the game managers fill the teams with bot tanks. My point was that it is quite conceivable that they use the VK3001H as a go to bot choice.
@@DS-sr8up i would stop playing if they start putting to many bots in game, i would rather have real players regardless of skill.
