what a CAR! So inviting, so well designed... just a pure beauty!
We agree!
Skoda is a game changer. If Enyaq iV didn't convince you, the Coupe RS will... can't wait to book a test ride.😍
Skoda's execution of the Enyaq model/range has been commendable. ^Dave
Congratulations on this absolute scoop…I was only just reading about this on an auto magazine website in the context of a news story not even a preview or first look….well done on this extremely exclusive video 👍🤘 keep up the good work!
Thank you very much for the kind words. We have lots more to come, so why not subscribe to ensure you don't miss anything :) ^DH
Attention to detail is everywhere and they have thought of it all. Looks exceptional.
The interior is great too.
Superb looking vehicle. Never a manufacturer I historically considered. Now my view has changed. Far far better than BMW.
Credit to Skoda, it has turned itself around over the last 10 years.
Great vid! Fabulous looking car, even nicer than regular Enyaq 👌🏼
Better looks than model x or Y
Thanks for watching.
Not hard to look better than the Model X, but the Model Y will be an interesting comparison to this car.
Excellent review
Glad you liked it!
Man the enyaq coupe is delicious in the eyes just like the name is! Probably my favorite Skoda so far! If anyone made a diecast version of these I'll grab it!
Like the colour?
Interesting looking car, reminds me a bit of a BMW X6 that was lowered..The colour is cool
Color called Mambo green. Cool toxic color, indeed.
Mamba Green
Looks really cool
We think so too.
Fantastic vehicle design
Glad you like it
Looking forward to test driving it. Currently thinking of getting this or the mache e
Have you seen our video of this in prototype form? czcams.com/video/fG99vO-Ytts/video.html
@@CompletecarIe thank you!
Gorgeous looking car and I love that colour green. To my mind I think it looks better than the Tesla model 3 and model Y.I want one.
The Mamba Green does look good. The Model Y does have a bit more room inside, and depending on your taste, has a more minimalist interior. Take a look at our Model Y review on the channel.
VW Group definitely got the right idea about the look of electric cars, make them look new and cool! BMW on the other hand, seems to think electric has to look wierd
Cupra is another example of how to make electric cars look great.
Skoda along with Kia and Hyundai have really crushed it in the EV market. The big car brands are running scared and really behind in this space.
We agree, it's great to see such interesting EVs coming out now.
This would look savage in matte anthracite grey wrapping.
No doubt we'll see some owners do this in the future.
Nice car. Put an order for a Race blue one with the black leather interior last week.
Good colour choice!
Well done on getting this review out... haven't seen this on other channels. Would love a bit of a comparison to the ICE equivalent and a breakdown of lifetime ownership costs in a car like this. E.g. BMW X5 Coupe vs this. Petrol vs electric. €1000 petrol and €100 for electricity for 10,000km, etc. Just an idea as a lot of people don't really see the savings potential in this and go ahead and buy the big guzzlers with less performance.
That's a great idea, we'll try to do something on it in the future.
Nice looking car ..my only thing is battery Tec is changing so quick and that with the price ( cheaper compared to a vw with the same tec) ...I'm changing the car this year but think I'll hold off on ev for a few more years..
Hard to know when to commit when the tech is evolving so quickly.
Does this come with Skoda umbrellas in the doors?
Yes!
But when will it be available in the UK and at what price?
On sale now...
Looks like my 2018 ford mondeo
We kinda see what you mean!
So how similar is it to the iD4??
This version would be more similar to the forthcoming ID.5. Interior space is almost the same in both. ^DH
Hi there. A beautiful car. Any word on pricing for Ireland?
I am seeing 40k - 55k GBP, for base and RS versions respectively. I would say you wouldnt get much change out of 70k euros for RS. I think at those prices Skoda are pricing themselves out of the market. I got a healthy budget for a car, but this is priced like an Audi not a Skoda. One doesnt have to be too bright to consider the scenario 'Audi Q5 / BMW X5 / Mercedes GLC or Skoda Enyaq Coupe?', and the take up of Skoda EV's stops right there.
@@-Derp- wow. Thanks for the info. I totally agree with your take on this. As a vrs driver, one of the best things about my car is that it is fantastic for the money. I was hoping the ev equivalent would be a similar proposition.
@@darrenfahy1744 Yeah I dont think this will be a value proposition, like other Skodas have been. Perhaps in 3 - 5 years when other players enter the market and slow down the gouging, then we may see better prices.
@@-Derp- you're probably going to save 20 to 30k on fuel given current trends over the life of the car. 10k per 100,000km roughly. So you have to make allowances for this. And also the extra torque and overall performance. Skoda are probably betting the VRS badge will sell this.
@@michaelherlihy2090 Base model Enyaq Coupe I agree there may be savings here regarding fuel costs given the lower purchase price, if keeping the vehicle for 10 - 20 years. We need to keep in mind that electricity isnt free either, so if charging from solar panels on roof or another means, there is a cost involved. The higher spec trim or RS takes alot longer to recoup any benefit. Base model Kodiak vs Enyaq Coupe RS reveals a bowel trembling price premium, the RS being almost double the price of the Kodiak. 30k GBP vs approx 55k GBP. I would have to keep the RS for 20 years to see any benefit. I generally offload cars after 5 - 10 years so this scenario wont work. Perhaps Skoda will review their pricing.
Super looking car, how much?
Still awaiting official pricing to be confirmed.
Well Done Skoda - Give the others something to think about
Thanks for watching!
OH LOOK, ITS THE BM-TESLA-RU -MODEL X6-TREK!
LOL
Avto yaxşı görsənir, ancaq bu qiymətə cox cox bahadı. Hələki benzin və dizel maşınlar uyğun görsənir. Elektrik maşınların qiymətlərinin düşməsini gözləyəcəyik.
Two words I thought I’d never say….SEXY SKODA 😂
Starting price?
60k ?
Depending on where you live...
@@CompletecarIe it's a year old question!
So much better looking than a Tesla
Than the Model X or the Model Y?
@@CompletecarIe Both. In my opinion they look like Fords. No offence to ford, but nothing in their range looks premium exempt maybe the Ranger. I get Tesla tech is great, but the design for me is boring.
Класная
I would more liked ti if it wasn't electric but stil looks nice👍
What engine should it have?
...severa nave...
Бампер ламбо, фары и решетка бмв, силуэт тесла, вкус ауди)))))
Thanks for watching
better then audi! and VW!
Skoda does seem to have been leading the way in EVs from the Volkswagen Group
It's a VRS!
It’s only the vRS in the UK. Everywhere else it’s the RS.
@@CompletecarIe you learn something new everyday. 👍
Looks like BMW X6
A few people have said that. Maybe it's the grille at the front?
From back looks like Tesla 😂
Nowhere near lmfao
What?!?!
It's way too big. Every new car is absolutely gigantic. No wonder people get into accidents more and more since you can't see anything out of them. Then you have to have dozens of cameras, which will break and cost a fortune and add weight. Ridiculous. 20 inch wheels, WTF. Don't they have any idea how much tires cost in that size? It's double the price of 17 inch tires.
You're right about the cost of larger tyres.
X6
Better or worse?
As if this is a skoda! They need to face lift their badge just to get rid of any old stigma. Like kia have!
Skoda has changed a huge amount over the years.
🙄🤔 Is this not just basically an Electric Bmw X4 with a skida badge on it 😆😆🤷🏽♂️🤣🤣 BMW Selling their blue prints & rights already to certain models lol
Not quite, but we see where you might think that
@CompletecarIe Dont get me wrong its a sexy looking car but its a bit pricey for the brand of vehicle it is in reality
I remember a colleague of mine getting burned by having chosen a dayglo colour on a car. When it came to trade in, nobody wanted it. The standard Enyaq is a handsome enough car, this looks too bloated. I'd happily buy the standard shape with a subtle RS package, this fastback wouldn't be for me, but then I don't like them from any maker, X4, X6, GLcoupes, new Volvo etc
It's a pity that more people don't go for brighter colours.
Just what the world needs another oversized vehicle. Heading back to the dark ages of horrible wheel trims.
I thought that, but seems that ev have them because of range. And they're all bloated looking because of the batteries. Although cars have been getting stupidly big before the move over to electric
lol
It's not an SUV
What is it then?
Disappointing interior
What don't you like about it?
@@CompletecarIe The entire interior does not match the contemporary exterior design. It is a really nice car from the outside, but the interior frankly disappointed me
Skoda for 70k€. No thanks.
No thanks what? any competitors ? I dont know man, i really like it. which is the problem with this or other skoda? #NOthanksAUDIvolkswagen
@@matteomazzamuto4787 It looks good but for 70k you get a really good premium car. Not EV though. I have nothing against Skoda. IMHO they are the best and most reliable brand in VAG group. Far better than VW.
Still cheaper than your mom :)
@@chessy323 classy. Too bad yours gives it for free :)
@@sasoperme YEP mate, I completely agree with your point. I am absolutely for the thermal engines but unfortunately in these times the future points to the EV. and for the segment ... among ford Mach-E. Audi and tron etc ... this model attracts me the most
Too expensive smartphone ... With a conventional engine, it would be a nice car.
That would be interesting
