It was great and I enjoyed all your techniques my friend👏
Thanks for sharing it
Glad you enjoyed it!👍
سلام هل تعملين في هدا المجال ظ؟
@@Mastermind- oo
Great work and some great ideas. Thank you!
PS: Please get rid of the annoying music. Shop people would rather just hear the machines.
Not necessarily. Both the video and music was great^^
Good content but please leave the music out. I’d much rather just listen to the machines.
Sure my friend🙏
This comment needs to be pinned to every machining video on CZcams. The music is so distracting.
I totally agree! I do not understand what so many machine related videos have this distracting unneeded music. If you look at the comments on every singe machining video with music every one is saying the same thing. Turn off the music! Guys/gals that watch these videos are watching for the content, there is no need to “spice” up the video with lame music. Let the machine sing instead
Respectfully, please kill the crappp 16 bars of sound. Is this a machine fault?😅
Then turn your volume Down , he made the video. . .
Nice job! I always keep my broken carbide to make cutting tools out of. You have some very cleaver homemade tools here.
Cool, thanks for watching my dear friend🙏🙏👍
I built the fly cutter, it works great, great video, keep'um coming.
Thanks, will do!
*It's great that you repair things yourself with high skill or turn them into useful tools. We enjoyed watching you.*
Thank you very much my friend🙏
I was having some soup while watching this, now I gotta heat my soup up again. Frigging loved it👏👍
Thank you very much my friend🙏
Lots of great techniques shown. Great work!
Thanks a lot my friend
Excellent tool making. Thank you 👍🇦🇺
Thanks a lot my friend👍
With the second build of the fly cutter if you mounted to to your cross slide of your lathe and kept it able to pivot you could use it as a spherical cutter
Exactly right
Thanks, my friend👍
Excellent, Great work, and ideas to zero wastes of precious tools. ❤️❤️❤️❤️🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹, Thankyou for sharing.
Thank you so much 😀👍👍🙏
bro your tool grinding skills are insane
Appreciate that🙏👍
This video is helpful. Thanks 😍
You are the best teacher i hav seen
🙏🙏🙏💐
I just found your channel. This is some good work. I'll probably try to reproduce a couple of these tools. Thanks!
I am very happy my friend👍🙏

Very cool ideas, thank you👍
Glad you like them!
Wow! Excellent.
Glad you like it!🙏👍
@@Mastermind- the adjustable boring bar, and the L-shaped multi-miller---I am definitely going to make my own versions of these. Such simple design, why even buy a boring head? These are genius ideas, and if they are indeed your ideas, I suggest selling the plan drawings---I would buy these blueprints!
Great ideas, thanks for sharing.
You are so welcome!🙏🙏💐
Tolle Arbeit meinen Respekt!!!
Weiter so 👍 💪 🇩🇪.
Vielen Dank, mein guter Freund🙏👍👍👍
With a dial caliper and a dial indicator, you could have actually bored a hole to an accurate size.
Make yourself a little micro boring bar with one of those end mill shanks.
Brilliant mate I’ll try some of them tips 👍🏻👍🏻
Glad you like them!👍
Perfect job. Thanks!
Glad you like it🙏🙏🙏👍❤️
That was fantastic and best video i have seen in this regards , many thanks
Also would you pls tell me the broken tools are HSS tools or something else? 🙏🏼👌👏
Great and informative video 😁👍
Thank you so much my friend🙏
10/10 =10 PLUS
Awesome, you are the best.
Wow, thanks!🙏🙏👍
Peça sensacional
Creative. Thanks.
Thank you too!
You are a true artist. Good luck always, God willing
thank you my good friend🙏
You are quite the expert grinder!
Thanks a lot my friend
I alwais reuse finish carbide drill to make micro boring bar or other small tool , for make small lots of pieces
Nice set of tools.😊😊😊😊😊😊
Thanks🙏
Top-Job, Sir👌
Thanks a lot my friend🙏
So, grind it and use it as a cutting tip, grind it and use it as a cutting tip or grind it and use it as a cutting tip? I actually knew of that trick. How about grinding them to use as fixed centers, clean up the ends and use them as dowel pins, measuring pins, really tough axles or center punches for hole transfers.
Oh, and get yourself a protective cap for your horizontal spindle taper when your spraying chips everywhere.
Cheers
Thank you!
You're welcome!🙏💐
Excelente trabajo muy util
gracias mi buen amigo
Creative video, thanks :)
Thanks a lot my friend
Very good sir.👍👍👍
Thanks🙏
Dead on!
I love broken machining tools, that hardened steel can be re-purposed into other machining tools, center punches, parts, etc.
🙏🙏🙏💐
Good work my friend!
Thanks a lot my dear friend
Great ideas all technique are useful, thanks for sharing this video, it is mind blowing, ❤
Thanks a lot my friend🙏🙏💐
Great idea bro thanks bro
Thank you so much my friend🙏
I really like this kind of work, greetings from indonesia
Thank you very much my friend🙏
Any ideas on modifying a cheap chinese drill press to have the spindle move in added tight tolerance bushings?
Great idea and great work.
The last sharp tooth of the hobby bandsaw got dull so the blade was exchanged. Do You have any project for the dismissed blade? Some kind of springs ought to be possible.
I don't understand what you mean, my friend
@@Mastermind- Stefan is asking whether you have a use for a worn out bandsaw blade.
Nice grind. 👌
22:58 - What air pressure do you use? Pretty agressive when I can blow the tip of the hss bit! 😜🤭
But on a serious note, perhaps the release rake underneath was too much since it broke. 🤔🤓
Nice video 💪
Great point!
Also sir in nest videos could you pls show us how you grind these broken tools to use for different uses ?
Thanks a world for sharing your experience 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Fantastic job.
Thank you so much my friend🙏
Standard stuff - people have been re-using HSS and before high carbon steel for over 100 years. Adding carbide to the mix like 60+ years ago.
This is what cutter and grinder is for (part of the use).
always keep boken drill bits to make center points that fits different hole sizes
Awesome!
Thank you so much my friend🙏
Хотел бы я жить по соседству... божечки, сколько бы мы сэкономили друг другу....
ottimo lavoro, hai il talento di un attrezzista di vecchio stampo

that's common where don't have money, like in brasil
Good ♥️
Do you have a drawing for the fly cutter? That thing is awesome…
🙏🙏🙏👍💐
Super robota ,panie,
Dzięki, przyjacielu🙏🙏👍
Hope this helps a newbie: Halfway video play I remembered my first day's absence to machine-shop class orientation. It was worthwhile my observations to understand these are broken "drills" and not drill-bits being salvaged into "cutting-tools", which these are repurposed into "tool-bits", and others so labeled according to machine equipment it is specifically bench grinded for:
Explanation is a lathe's tool-bit is reformed into different angle/shape for a differently designed holder than milling machine. Cutting tools are distinguished from mechanics' or etc non-machine shop tools. Even their alloys are hardened/tensile strenghthened by tempering processes, and even slightly different betwixt some machine applications. Thus especially different are metal categories unlike other tools outside a machine shop. Another difference is a mechanic's tools refer to power-equipments, but these are machines like a drill-press for one used among those displayed in this video. This video is a worthwhile contribution for DIYs economizing.
I liked that tech-school class in my younger days. If only possible for me to overcome personal issues of attendance and punctuality, I could have broadened my manufacturing independance desires into any materials for fabrication, except for specialty parts like electronics.
Probably I could not have progressed up to their programmable multi-operation machine. And tech magazines debuted programmable solution-bath equipments having electric-arc cutters! But isn't learning what you can and when you can such great fun?
Tf you talking bout? 🤔 ❓❔❓‼️⁉️
Yep, dont give up there's still hope for manufacturing anything your little heart desires.
Great take from it! I had similar experiences but now I'm looking into how to build a wire EDM machine at home, I mean, the learning never really stops
@@droopy_eyes If that is true, it's pretty ironic and he should've went to class more often. The guy is using broken carbide endmills, which can be ground into any serviceable tool in the machine shop. He'd also know the shank of a HSS drill is still serviceable if you apply the effort as shown, but they're so cheap it's not worth it to most these days. The biggest thing lost in all of the repurposing is the benefit of the coatings.
Awesome
🙏🙏💐
Grande 😮
How can he grind the broken pc.of tool to be the acurate angle at the tip used for threading the metal rod?
Can we use carbide drill as boring tool us ing drill machine if you have tried pl share video. Thanks for video innovative 👌👌👌👌👌
thank you my good friend🙏
@@Mastermind- your answer yes or no , difficult to answer.
Классный самокальный резец ! И красивый!
I save a lot of broken cutters. Now all I need is a mill & lathe🤔
Overall, this is a highly informative and enjoyable video for anyone interested in engineering. It showcases your talent and expertise while providing valuable insights and inspiration to fellow enthusiasts. Keep up the great work, and I look forward to watching more of your content in the future 👍👍👍
Wow, thank you my dear friend and thanks for watching🙏💐
Nice work! What kind of milling machine is that? It looks like a shizuoka
Lunan
Nice.
Thanks🙏
se nota que se le gasto en la ultima pasada, o sea que sirve solo para hacer un pedacito de rosca?
Where did you get that green 'carbide' grinder wheel? thanks!!!
Ah I found it at MSC.
Muito criativo 😊
🙏🙏🙏👍🌹
Genius
Thanks for watching🙏💐
First, I don't do this work but appreciate it immensely. So, at about 20:15 and following, why did you resort to the hand held disc cutter instead of using the more precise mill?
Because it was done faster and easier and at this stage I trusted the accuracy of my work
@@Mastermind- Thanks. What that hand held device a Dremel, or something more "exotic"?
czcams.com/video/DCK3N_9NHRA/video.html
@@Mastermind- Thanks! Will be waiting for more videos.
Thanks, my friend🙏
I suggest you don't miss watching the next video because you will definitely be surprised
How much do you spend time and cost for this work? 😁 it’s better than to buy new one for best and convenient 🙏🇳🇵💕
Молодец! Что приятно, станину укрыл от наждачки и стружки! Мастер!
hi use which type of steel for the tooling?
It depends on the type and application of the tool, but generally from 2312 and 2375
News save tools video good 👍 👌 👏
Thanks, my friend
Are you making up for something with that live centre?
I don't understand what you mean, my friend
Some great ideas there. The tip of the thread cutter in the final segment is missing (23mins) Must have broken off.
Yes my friend
I think I put too much pressure on the tool
