I was at Sacramento with Chien-Pao, and saw couple other Chien-Pao decks. It was my first regional, and I need more practice with the time limits in best of three. I'm thinking adding grabber to my deck for some defense.
So the plans fell through but they didn’t pay their part still? Seems a bit scummy from them.

So did you like the Lumineon in the deck? I feel like if you're gonna keep it you should probably fit in more ultra balls, only 2 seems wild to me lol
Ultra Ball is really really not good without the Bibarel lol - you want to build up your hand and you run out of steam fast when you ultra ball.
Lumineon wasn’t the most amazing. I started with it three times, and that’s about how many times it was helpful (2-3, can’t remember). I still like it for peace of mind because it’s good on paper and i’m not sure what card i’d play instead. 5th Irida is too good
I do also play Rotom in my Chien Pao for a few weeks now, feels super op! I will compete at Stuttgart Regionals, wit hit i think. Need to figure out how to play Giand Hands in it

The input of getting the pieces is not worth the output, imo. Bibarel much more worth getting out - only needs one ultra ball instead of ultra ball + candy

100%! Not sure if it’s that much better than gshens list, but it was super fun and allowed for some crazy T2 plays which wins the game a lot of the time
Here because I didn't know rotom in Chien Pao was a thing and I just went against it on live 😂😂
and what do u think about mew celebrations in chein pao? i think it’s great for finding vaccuum for path bump, ultra balls or rare candy for finding pieces for bax and turn 1 for best ball or vip, lmk ur idea on the mew
This was in Chris’s list for Peoria. If you have to retreat into it you’re not using Shivery Chill which causes you to whiff knockouts. You always want to promote into Pao because chill is broken and runs the deck. Mew is only good if you lead it with no Pao imo but even then you need to retreat into pao lol
