On June 15, the Central Meteorological Observatory in China issued a yellow warning for heavy rain, indicating severe weather conditions in parts of Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, and other regions. This weather alert is in response to persistent and intense rainfall, which has led to significant disruptions and hazards. This excessive rainfall has caused water levels in major reservoirs to rise sharply, necessitating the opening of gates to discharge floodwaters and mitigate downstream flooding risks.
The channel lists such natural disasters as:
1) Geological emergencies: Earthquake, Volcanic eruption, Mud, Landslide, Avalanche;
2) Hydrological emergencies: Flood, Tsunami, Limnological disaster,

The problem I see is that the dam will hold back the water until it reaches the point where they need to release water due to the fact its reach its danger level. Unfortunately, once they release the water,
it is a huge unexpected result of enhancing the amount of water that floods into the surrounding area.
If a dam doesn't help, even prevent mass flooding , and the need for flood control needs to be re-evaluated by engineers, there must be a way to truly, safely deal with this flooding that is an epidemic every single year!!❤❤❤❤❤❤😇
