It is not the "woke" people who are violent. White supremacy and right wing extremism are responsible for the most violence in the country. 93% of BLM protests were peaceful. The ones that weren't were instigated by white supremacists, who testified in court they were at these protests attempting to make it look like BLM was violent.

I think it's honestly sad that some people are so desperate to find racism where there is none. We even watched other black reactions to the video (her idea) and none of them thought it was racist. The location has caused the uproar. The song has been out since May. Jason did not pick the location, the video production company did. You should watch the "making of" video of this. Just because someone films a video somewhere doesn't mean they approve (or even know about) everything that ever happened in that spot. If we are going to go and say we can't film videos/movies in places where anything bad ever happened, we would have to wipe out a LOT of our past movies and it would also severely limit where we could film future ones. As far as that goes, how far back do we need to go? 1920's? 1800's? Biblical times? If that is the basis for people considering this video "racist" then we are in serious trouble as a country. For all those complaining about this video: First it was democrats that lynched the teenager in 1927! Second several movies have featured this same courthouse. Third Everyone seems to miss the news footage from Jan. 6 th that is also featured in this video. Fourth the video is showing CRIMES, not peaceful protests. Fifth there are numerous WHITE offenders shown in this video. Sixth and last, this is exactly how small towns are, have their neighbors backs!

Most of the outrage I’ve seen is because where the music video was filmed. The backdrop is the Maury County Courthouse in Columbia, Tennessee, site of a 1946 race riot and the 1927 mob lynching of an 18-year-old black man named Henry Choate.

A lot of the liberals are complaining about the courthouse he used. It was the site of a lynching in 1929. But like people on NBC are complaining about it, but they are nobody else complained when the parent company of NBC, Paramount used it for the film A Nashville Country Christmas or when Myley Cyrus movie Hannah Montana used it. Or when two other videos used it.

Hey Jason! I loved watching you react to this video so honestly. "A small town" COULD be anywhere, a neighborhood, a community center, a church, anywhere people have each other's backs. You give me hope for the future of our country. Not a country music fan, but I LOVE this song which gives a voice to what all patriotic Americans are feeling and thinking. Kudos to Jason Aldean for having the courage to shine the light on the evil ANTIFA trying to take over our beautiful country. A black eye to the politically correct communist popo! Yay! AND the music is DOPE!

I love America and I hate crime. I live in a medium sized town in CA and we still don’t see too much crime like big cities so yeah we’d like to keep it that way. Nothing racist about it we just don’t want that crap around here.

Also I want to thank you for looking at it like it really is. This has nothing to do with race, religion, sexual preference or anything that will exclude anyone. We just want peace and freedom. Yes there are and always will be racism and hate but as a whole that’s not what we want. What we want it’s freedom for all and to be free from fear of someone burning down our home or business. Your a gay man and you are more than welcome in my home for dinner just like a You we’re my own family. I do NOT see color, I see character of an individual. Anyone want to condemn me for that then go to Hell. God Bless you brother. God loves us all.

Let me clear up a big reason people had an issue with this video in particular…. He filmed this in front of a pretty well known courthouse in Columbia, TN. I grew up in that town. This town is known for a local holiday called Mule Day. A long time ago people came from miles and miles to sell mules and also slaves!!!! The courthouse steps that he’s filming on is where they had public hangings for black people!! It wasn’t about the lyrics of the song. He said a lot with the location of that video without saying a word.

I'm a Black woman and I love this song and I enjoy country music. I didnt see anything wrong or racist about the video or the lyrics. If nothing else, it helped people wake back up from this crazy woke agenda that sees everything as racist no matter what it is. The truth always gets attacked.
Why would anybody assume this song was about Black Americans? Were they hoping we would be outraged and start some mess? But even assuming that is actually racist if you think only Black people protest, riot, or commit crimes. I saw more white people in the video than any other group. Was he racist for doing that?🤦🏾‍♀️

It's not a threat... it's a statement and a fact. I'm from a small town and we take care of each other. We know our neighbours and their children. We know the corner store owner. I get my car fixed for a case of beer, a good meal and me helping out in the yard next week. My sister had bikes stolen from her kids.... within a day, we knew who it was because families know each other and parents hold their children accountable. This is only a threat to those who have a guilty conscious.

i think the song is a fair warning to people who think activism is a real thing they could do in their individual lives. now those people need to know about the 2nd amendment. most people have guns and the only time you see people rioting or committing mass crimes is in areas where gun control is the strongest. if you go out to a place where 2nd amendment is used by everyone these riots might have a very different outcome because the people would come out of their homes and business armed and ready to defend themselves. i think this is a NICE thing jason aldeen did for these people who are being brainwashed into acting violently

I was in a store the other day at a checkout line with my three boys. There were two black fellas in front of us. Probably early 30's age. Both had their jeans below their butt cheeks and their underwear were exposed for all to see. They walked with their legs spread so as to keep their pants from falling all the way down. My boys looked at them and then looked at me and I said one word, "unemployable." It was not racist, it was a fact of life and life decisions. They are unemployable by their own actions.
