Yo Yo Yo, Hey guys what shopping, I am Jacques Slade and today we are taking a closer look at Nike’s next drop for Air Max Day. If you aren’t familiar with Air Max day, it is basically a sneaker holiday that Nike made up and we all just kinda go along with it. Regardless of how you feel about that, people are definitely in their feelings about this, the Air Max 1 Big Bubble. The issue is something I didn;t expect, but it is one I can see why people are passionate about it. Like with most things, we have a level of expectation when it comes to the product we get from Nike and this throws a wrench into the whole program. To get the full story, we have to go back a little bit.

I can’t believe how much talk there is about these looking “wrong.” I remember when my friend got pair of these back in junior high and my mind was BLOWN. I couldn’t be happier to see them again in their original form, and would love to get my hands on a pair (but I’m not holding my breath).
Yes!!! This. These will divide us by age…the larger bubble stuck with us old heads because it was so crazy to see when it came out. These may honestly be the first Air Max I will get due to it looking “correct” to me!
Fax I remember my homeboy had these and the obsidian pair in middle school I always wanted a pair but my parents couldn’t afford them I’m definitely getting these if I can but you know them resellers gonna be on it so I’m not holding my breath

I'm a 70's baby, grew up in the 80's and 90's. Leave these to us "OG's". Hope there isn't hype and I can cop.
Man them joints sold out instantly. Men’s and Kids sizes. They had limited women’s sizes last one I checked.

I bought a pair of the Goadome Gore-Tex boot back in 2009. I’m from Chicago. The air unit didn’t like the cold, then, either.
Like the bigger air bubble but don’t like how the shape still wrong. Toe and midsole needs to be slimmer and more sloped
And now they HAVE to give us OG 95AM Big bubble’. Enough is enough Nike. Drop OG’s with bg bubbles. We’ll GLADLY pay the premium.

My first Air Max 1 OG and first shoe im doubling up on. I’ve always wanted one especially the 2017 but man am I glad i got these instead. I’ve always wondered why some of the vintage ads the bubble was bigger but I never looked into it. This is how it was always supposed to be.
Had a pair of these in blue when at school in the 80s. Groundbreaking at the time. Good days
I say yes!!!! Do a video on who tinker is and what he brought to nike. 3 kids came up to me a few months ago and said what are those!!! One of them said how are you going to wear fakes at a basketball tournament, the swoosh isn't even close. I asked If he knew what these were. I told him they are the tinker 3s. He said yea they fake Jordan's. I said they are Jordan 3s but the original design by tinker. He said who the hell is that and walked away looking like a grandma wearing his crocs. I was willing to share what little knowledge I have about the shoe but maybe they might hear what you have to say a bit louder. 😆
Please people get them in hand -all these videos claiming outrage are kind of weird since they aren’t THAT different in person. It’s an amazing shoe you won’t regret.
I am a sucker for OGs. Didn’t know about the full story of the Big Bubble until I heard about this release. Love what Nike did here, including how the toe box was shaped. 🔥 Sneaker. Gotta have a pair.

Actually I never knew about the larger air bubble, but from what a good friend told me these are extremely comfortable.

IDK I'm the biggest og sneakerhead ever and have dam near all the OG colorway retro's of everything and some true OGs from the 90s early 2000s but I'ma keep it 💯 the 3 looks way better ,but I'ma still cop it because it's a OG retro and colorway

I got my winning raffle result today for these, then saw a restock of the new balance x stone island 574 so got them too then I saw the Ronnie Fieg x clarks x adidas sambas were up for preorder so got 2 versions of those. Been a long day 😳 and it’s only 1.30pm here 😅
I bought these and the GOLF pair and I must say...the GOLF pair needs a comparison video because it's the winner. The midsole is a gloss white, the air bag has a blue tint and overall it's slightly slimmer height. The traction is a plus to me and the biggest win is the toebox is WATERPROOF.
I love the AirMax 90 and the Infrared color way was the shoe that started my love for Sneakers back in the day so I will always be partial to the AirMax lineup so seeing firsthand what Tinker envisioned is sweet. I would love to see if Nike can do this with other silhouettes especially Jordan Brand. Tinker will always be a legend and if Nike can pay more homage to the legend of Tinker Hatfield it would bring more story telling to sneaker culture.
Air max 1s is my favourite silhouette of all time and The more I see the shoe the more I like the big bubble
My 2020 air max 90 infrared have the size imprinted on the inside of the shoe.

Back in the late 80's and 90's the air unit was always big, they stopped the original air unit back in 2003, climate change due to the gas they used 🙄 we now have the tiny air unit which is well crap to be honest! Nike needs and should put this air unit in all the air max trainers/sneakers instead of the tiny 3 column one's we get now
