i would like to point out to ppl who didn't notice. Looks like Jennifer had some problem at the start of the solo if you look she stomps a pedal and does not get the sound she was after and from there improvises the solo.
and recovered very well. well done Jennifer
Jenifer meant to improvise the first half of the solo..she does this to extend the solo and put some of her own creativity into it. I've seen her do it this way many times when she wasn't playing with MJ. Great player!!

Einfach nur den Songtext zu singen ohne ein tiefes Gefühl mit hinein zu geben, kommt nicht gut an. Bei MJ spielten die Emotionen eine wichtige Rolle, dies kann man in seinen Lieder immer wieder raus hören!

It can also be a matter of the acoustic situation. She has a good voice but it´s not sure that she can hear herself really well and that will affect the intonation.
