Hi there I just want you to know that your father left us his music until now. Way back 90's 4th degree burn album was the first blast of your father's band. I was one of those who supported them at that time we are buying those albums in malls and listening them in nu 107 radio station. May he rest in peace.

Linkin Park was one of their (Slapshock) musical influences. Actually, when Chester died they performed One Step Closer on one of their concert as a tribute.
I noticed that, too. During the late 2000s, a MYX VJ said Slapshock was the Linkin Park of the Philippines.

We see person like Jamir singing his heart out with all the jumping and moshpit, but we never really heard what he said on all his lyrics man and that sucks about us fans. It'll be too late to know that our idols has depression til they snap out of it. Still gets me teary when I hear how Jamir sound and not gonna be able to hear him sing new songs. :'( a happy one.
If you always listen to Korn and listen to slapshock at the same time, you can always here elements of Jonathan Davis in Jamir's voice and how they execute their music as a band. Jonathan Davis and Korn was one of theur biggest influneces. Thank you Bowzer and Sporto for paying your respect and tribute to Jamir and Slapshock. Slapshock was one of the first bands I listened to when I was starting to love music (my high school days), so the news about Jamir really got me low on that day. Really sad day for the rock community in the Philippines, tragic ending.
