- This is a bit out of the ordinary for my videos but I thought I'd make this, this is not to cut down on normal hockey shooting pads, I'm sure they work great, this is just a cheaper alternative. Excuse the awkwardness on camera and enjoy. And yes, I know I suck at hockey haha.
You can also make a great slide/stride/glide board out of marlite as well. Make a pair of booties out of a old jersey attatch two peices of 2x2 or 2x4 on the end pad them with old carpet ect and hang on for dear life when you first get on its very slippery just like ice.
really appreciate the support man
you didn't say how to make one. you don't even know what it's called. all you say is it's durable. you should call it how to use a shooting pad, but that parts obvious
So true
Best roller/street stick I've ever had
no problem man... and yeah it's one of my go-to moves... but I wouldn't say I have a good toe drag haha
I made a shooting pad for $2 and it worked really well
great idea, but I use monolithic polycarbon, it's harder and can serve much longer. The material is the same.
Today I bought a piece of masonite with a white coating on one side. Sprayed some Pledge to make it slippery. Best $10 I spent
I was looking this up and didn't realize until a couple seconds in the video this is my actual best friend in real life.
Fail.
you dont play ice hockey wow you proboly have better ones than me nice video
i have the same stick koho 300 proflex nice vid i will be heading into home depot soon by the way your realy good for a beginer thanks alot cause i was about to buy a 130 dollar one
FYI this is normally called Coreplast
Bro was never seen again
You can make a better one. Go to home depot, menards ect. And get a 4x8 sheet of marlite. Its about $10. to $15. There are no ribs or riges completely smooth it white. You can use car wax or furniture polish. Then get a fly puck from a pro shop. I like the fly puck the best. Get the blue one it offcial weight of a reg ice puck and come with dvd about $11. for that they also make a light puck and a heavier puck. Its is just like playing on ice.
it's not really a hockey pad... it's something they use to cut out granite templates, I've never looked but I'm sure they'll sell them at places like Home Depot
how well does it slide?
@meano01 Just looked it up... looks like a good idea, does it work better than pledge?
