I think that the Cherry biomes are going to bring a lot to the game. I still hope that with this update that they decide to update some existing biomes too like the birch forest.

The addition of the cherry grove biome reminds us of the birch forest update that never was (and also the fact that we still don't have azalea wood)
I think that cherry biome is still quite empty. Lilac and bamboo should also spawn there and maybe some lonely rocks from time to time could make the biom more diverse.
Foxes in cherry biome also would be cool.

I think everyone forgot about bambo wood lol, but I have to agree that cherry wood is 100x better, but I would like to see more stuff in that biome and more features to make sure 1.20 isnât another 1.19!!!

The cherry trees have given me ideas for other trees to add to the game like jacaranda and maple which will have coloured leaves and maybe some of the existing trees can get variants that are accurately a variant of the leave and these leaves will be the same texture but different colours like larch spruce leaves or silver birch leaves or autumnal oak leaves
Olive trees for a matte green wood, A new fungus tree for blue wood, Ash for grey wood. Cedar for Magenta wood, Mahogany for bright red wood, but why stop there? Walnut, Chestnut and Cashew trees so we can get nuts, Tamarind, Citrus, Avocado, Mango, and Guava Trees and for new fruits, Date, Banana, and Coconut Palms could also drop broad leaves that can be used in building. And don't even get me started on how useful Rubber Trees would be.
Azalea for grey maybe a root tree underground with logs around azalea for irl cherry wood giant lettuce spawn in totk depths like biome along with other weird fungus thing, and the lettuce has green and white wood.

Love this addition! :) I just started a new super flat, based on one cherry sapling. It gives a ton of saplings, and seem to grow fairly quick.
I farm them by planting them in a straight line, and letting them grow up. Then I start at one end, and work upwards. This way, you can reach everything fairly easy. Would probably be a good thing to combine with water collection though. Because it drops a LOT of saplings and sticks. I usually use the excess of saplings for bonemeal.

i'd like to see some unifying mechanics for tree growth. like the idea for Redwoods, Jungle and Dark Oaks, spread over to the other types.
4 oak saplings, planted all together you'd get a a Beech: a taller massive tree with height of 5+ and large diameter canopies with lots of limbs, ideal for making a tree house
if you plant 4 birches, you get a larger, much taller birch with a high, splayed out canopy
if you plant 4 accacias, you get a Boabob tree - massive trunk with a few extras splayed "roots" and a tall broad canopy like a dark oak
if you plant for 4 Mangroves, you get Banyon, large and sprawling like the mangroves but with a central trunk and fewer roots (above ground)
if you plant 4 azalea's together, you get a Wisteria, with a chance for a new flowering type, a sort of vine that flowers that would be ideal for decorating
i'd also like to see seasons put in to the game and could even be based on the passage of days. time it to the months even. Spring you get bright green leaves, summer they fade just a little and turn a darker green, fall, they turn bright colors (each type gets it's own shade of red or yellow or orange or something in between) and winter the leaves thin some and start looking less solid and more "branchy"
I'm hoping there will be Koi in Japanese - style ponds within the Cherry Grove biomes.
either Mojang put it in or Modders will, no matter what there will be Koi.

Trails & Tales update should buff ridable mobs to have full chest inventories so theyâre actually somewhat useful. (Double chest for llamas since you canât control them.)
they're still useful, those chests could be full of Shulker Boxes, even a Merchant would be happy with that much space. XD
Donkey / mule inventory use is pretty moderate, they only afford a few extra slots of inventory. Llamas in particular are virtually useless because of how slow and uncontrollable they are, and how much work you have to put in to even get 9 slots on a llama. Managing items with those constraints just winds up being too tedious to bother with. Rideable mobs should simply have as much, or more, inventory space than the player.

I started a hardcore world with the cherry blossom biome. Like 150 blocks from spawn it is soooo easy to spot from a distance and is beautiful especially with bees flying around it

ngl i wish the cherry blossom particles were more like the sporeblossom ones. not quite so multidirectional because it looking like wind blowing them off is important, but i Do wish they were a bit more floaty and a bit less... straight down

A maple tree with orange or burnt yellow leaves with the particle affect would be amazing, and if they gave it a way to tap the tree to get maple syrup that would be neat.
The beauty of the cherry groves makes it feel like a mod.

The only thing that would make the cherry trees better would be if cherry blossoms land on the ground and pile-up underneath the tree making it look like pink snow but it's not snow it's just Leafs

Right now the biom is visually kind of bland - water would really add something good to it.
with it being a mountain subset of biome, i can understand. but people can definitely create their own landscape with a Waterfall, Bamboo/Cherry Hut and Koi pond.
I really think the moobloom would really make this biome would be better too, Also the ponds would be a great opportunity for actual koi fish, salmon and cod are bland, we need some river n pond fish đ

I feel like oak trees can do without a update it would be great if they got one but I donât think that with the lager variations itâs really necessary but birch trees need an update the birch forest is so bare if they updated it it would be like adding a hole new biome
We just need new common trees like regular fern trees ginkos or eukliptis maybe ferns or ginkos could have jungle and ancient varients along with exlsuive sniffer trees moss trees

Allay is so good to farm trees. And basically the only real use for them (if you wanna tall about armor sorting... do you really need nuggets??)
So I'm all for the new wood types but I do think the Cherry Grove biome is going to be the same as many other biomes.
What I mean by that is I'll go there once to get some saplings and then never go again. I think mojang should be adding unique mobs and structures in these new biomes
