He was assassinated by a persian. The persian was a servant that complained to Umar (ra) about being mistreated by his master. Umar went to talk to his master and tell him to stop overworking his servant. But before the servant found out about Umar visiting his master, he had already devised a plan to kill Umar (Ra). The servant went into the mosque during a prayer and killed Umar (ra). He then stabbed other people who were praying and eventually stabbed himself, killing himself. I wonder how bad of a punishment Allah (swt) will give him. But that is up to Him, not me.

My brother the life they lived was not easy. The Muslims at the time had such a great trial that an average Muslim today could ever bear to live. Sure we are in times of great fitnah- but the fitnah that we experience today is not that out of hardship. Rather it is distraction and deception. Many of us live the lives of kings with our soft beds and ease and comfort of life that Allah SwT has provided for us. What I'm trying to say is don't wish that you could've lived with them then. Rather, InshaAllah may we meet all of the righteous in Jannah ameen.

We on the other hand do not know them as well and therefore cannot just say things willy nilly- not that I'm saying he is. There's always a reason for the Prophet SAW to say something. Alhamdulillah both Abu Bakr RA and Umar RA were one of the greatest people to walk on the face of the earth.

Suleiman the magnificiant was the so called caliph that he received from his father which is basically kingdom not a caliph. Also suleiman was not that great of a carachter, he was a strong king but he did kill 3 of his children and his best friend who were innocent, he killed innocents unlike these great man like Caliphs.

Abu bakr as-sideeq (ra) died by a flu. Rasoolallah (saw) died from a flu. Aisha died from old age at the age of 73 and hamza was killed by a mushrikeen in the battle of uhud. Not by the second greatest muslim of all time. 😑😑

I still remember that moment 😃 when our Islamiat teacher first taught us a lesson about Khulfa, in the 5th class or so. I heard the names of them (R.A) before but never learn their lives and struggles and when our teacher taught us about all 4 of the Khulafa. Hazrat Abu Bakr, Umar, Usman and then Ali (R.A), I don't know why but I get so much boost and power during the lesson of Hazrat Umar's life. I so much loved it❤️ I Love All The Khulafa and Sahaba's of Hazrat Muhammad SAW ( peace be upon him) 😊🙌
I cry every time I listen to it.Umar was my brother's name he was very tall muscular and very handsome he use to look very aggressive yet very kind soft hearted always ready to help others he wasn't financially stable but still help others however he could he never had greed of money and fame.we didn't knw about them as he use to help others secretly he passed away at the age of 22 due to an accident while he was going to get someone bailed from police station Umar is beautiful name only suits beautiful kind hearted people i miss and love my brother so much May Allah grant him highest status in heaven and reunite us all in jannat ul firdous Aameen

I reverted to Islam March 29th this year, during Ramadan. I was in the mosque for iftar and a brother said "Your muslim name from now on is Omar." I asked him: "Why Omar?" He said: "Trust me, he's a very good man mashallah" So I went around and told some people half-jokingly that I am Omar now and each and every one of them said "ohh mashallah that's a good name!" Learning more and more about this powerhouse of a man I have growing appreciation for the magnitude of the compliment that giving me the name Omar has... Alhamdulillah
I think it's spelt Umar the prophet ﷺ said every prophet has two ministers in heaven and earth, his ministers of heaven are Jibril a.s and the other one is Mikael (I guess) as for his 2 ministers of the earth are Abu-bakr and Umar may Allah be pleased with them both.

Zalifa 8900 I think he died a bit younger at age 60. Abu Bakr and Omar are the only ones buried in the same age and place. Ali in Iraq and Uthman not far from Madinsh I believe. But Uthman lived to be much older

Umar went to talk to his master and tell him to stop overworking his servant. But before the servant found out about Umar visiting his master, he had already devised a plan to kill Umar (Ra). The servant went into the mosque during a prayer and killed Umar (ra). He then stabbed other people who were praying and eventually stabbed himself, killing himself. I wonder how bad of a punishment Allah (swt) will give him. But that is up to Him, not me.

My brother the life they lived was not easy. The Muslims at the time had such a great trial that an average Muslim today could ever bear to live. Sure we are in times of great fitnah- but the fitnah that we experience today is not that out of hardship. Rather it is distraction and deception. Many of us live the lives of kings with our soft beds and ease and comfort of life that Allah SwT has provided for us.

We on the other hand do not know them as well and therefore cannot just say things willy nilly- not that I'm saying he is. There's always a reason for the Prophet SAW to say something. Alhamdulillah both Abu Bakr RA and Umar RA were one of the greatest people to walk on the face of the earth.

Suleiman the magnificiant was the so called caliph that he received from his father which is basically kingdom not a caliph. Also suleiman was not that great of a carachter, he was a strong king but he did kill 3 of his children and his best friend who were innocent, he killed innocents unlike these great man like Caliphs.

If he ran away at uhud its because he thought the prophet (saw) passed away and there was no point in fighting, some of the greatest muslims and overall greatest humans of all time also ran away in that battle which is why they we're pardoned by rasoolallah (saw).
Abu bakr as-sideeq (ra) died by a flu. Rasoolallah (saw) died from a flu. Aisha died from old age at the age of 73 and hamza was killed by a mushrikeen in the battle of uhud. Not by the second greatest muslim of all time. 😑😑

You Shia are a literal meme. Muhammad (pbuh) chose Abu Bakr to lead the prayers when he was ill. Abu Bakr is mentioned in the Quran, the Quran my friend as a companion and you hate on this man whom the prophet (pbuh) loved so much, the man who spent 40,000 dirhams freeing slaves, the man who was arguably the first male Muslim, who was the first to believe in the Mi'raj, again you insult the Prophet (pbuh) when you insult Abu Bakr ra because why would the prophet appoint such a terrible person to lead the whole ummah in prayer in his absence. You hate on Uthman ra but Uthman married two of the Ahlul Bayt. You are saying the prophet (pbuh) was such a bad judge of character he would marry two of his daughters to Uthman? Not only that he said I would marry forty of my daughters to you if I had them.
You hate on Aisha (ra) and accuse her of zina which is beyond vile, think about the implications for the prophet (pbuh) if that is true. When the prophet was dying, who did he go to? Aisha ra. He died with her and you dare slander her over a political dispute. I will not deny she was in the wrong, I personally believe Ali ra was correct over Muawiyah and Aisha ra, but you dare lie, slander and spread filth about her? Whats ironic is that some of the most positive ahadith praising the ahlul bayt in sunni hadiths come from Aisha ra.

I still remember that moment 😃 when our Islamiat teacher first taught us a lesson about Khulfa, in the 5th class or so.
I heard the names of them (R.A) before but never learn their lives and struggles and when our teacher taught us about all 4 of the Khulafa.
Hazrat Abu Bakr, Umar, Usman and then Ali (R.A), I don't know why but I get so much boost and power during the lesson of Hazrat Umar's life. I so much loved it❤️

I cry every time I listen to it.Umar was my brother's name he was very tall muscular and very handsome he use to look very aggressive yet very kind soft hearted always ready to help others he wasn't financially stable but still help others however he could he never had greed of money and fame.we didn't knw about them as he use to help others secretly he passed away at the age of 22 due to an accident while he was going to get someone bailed from police station Umar is beautiful name only suits beautiful kind hearted people i miss and love my brother so much May Allah grant him highest status in heaven and reunite us all in jannat ul firdous Aameen

I reverted to Islam March 29th this year, during Ramadan. I was in the mosque for iftar and a brother said "Your muslim name from now on is Omar."
I asked him: "Why Omar?"
He said: "Trust me, he's a very good man mashallah"
So I went around and told some people half-jokingly that I am Omar now and each and every one of them said "ohh mashallah that's a good name!"
Learning more and more about this powerhouse of a man I have growing appreciation for the magnitude of the compliment that giving me the name Omar has... Alhamdulillah

I cry sometimes when I hear about Umar ibn Khattab RA. What a man he was. So much Sacrifices that he has made for Islam. He loved prophet PBUH so much. Amir ul mumineen. He was the Head of the state and lived in a torn down cottage.

Ali bin Abu Talib (RA) also died at the age of 63
Zalifa 8900 I think he died a bit younger at age 60. Abu Bakr and Omar are the only ones buried in the same age and place. Ali in Iraq and Uthman not far from Madinsh I believe. But Uthman lived to be much older
