First of all, I would like to thank Mr. B.Singh sir for taking this outstanding initiative for all of us. The way B.Singh sir asked questions and answers delivered by expert faculties was remarkable because they made their points on the basis of the Supreme Court judgments, Acts, facts and figures, and so on. I would urge you to please continue this series, sir. Last but not least, Mr. B.Singh sir made us understand how this topic is crucial for UPSC aspirants.😊
Though it is a bit late for me to comment on the issue of electoral bond,.But I am feeling compelled morally to point out the discrepancy in the judgement of Supreme court. Don't the discussing panelists think that court should have issued a direction to govt. to make the law more transparent rather then quashing (read unconstitutional)it all together? Because this first step by the govt.was meant to make the money involved in the election to come through cleaner process and money coming through bank was to make the donation-money,legal and accountable for all parties. By quashing the law ,court has pushed the donors again back to the system of old process- donating funds in cash. The law was one step forward to clean the system .The law would have been evolved for better by incorporating amendments step after step in future. I believe court has erred in its decision and govt.should go for the review.
