    มันเป็นหลักการของกาลักน้ำ ซึ่งตามทฤษฎี จะดูดน้ำสูงจากผิวน้ำได้ประมาณ 10 เมตร แต่ในทางปฎิบัติ มันมีเรื่องของเเรงเสียดทานการไหลในท่อมาร่วมด้วย จึงทำให้ดูดได้น้อยกว่าทางทฤษฎี ครับ ถ้าดูดสูงจากผิวน้ำในคลองได้ซัก 5 เมตร ก็ถือว่าสุดๆแล้วครับ ซึ่งท่อน้ำเข้าต้องอยู่ใต้น้ำในถังตลอดเวลาครับ และน้ำที่ออกจากถัง ต้องมีอัตราไหลเท่าๆ กับน้ำเข้า ไม่งั้นพอไหลออกมากกว่า ปลายท่อในถังจะโพล่เหนือน้ำทำให้น้ำหยุดไหลเข้าถังครับ

The release of the water from the main tank creates a vacuum in the supply line that draws water from the river or well into the main tank to feed the output line. the length and size of the output line also contribute to the process and maintain the necessary vacuum to draw water from the supply side.

    If you studied fisics in the secundary school, you know that it's impossible to move water from a lower level to a upper level without using a pump or a container, because the water moves for the gravitational potential energy. The gravitational potential energy is product of multiplication between weight and height, and weight is product of multiplication between mass and acceleration of gravity, so E = mass * acceleration of gravity * height. If the level is the same, the height is 0 metter, so the water not move between two levels, while if the level of water is diferent, the water moves from upper level to the lower level because the height is different than 0 metter. If you need move water from upper level to lower level, you just need a hose and suck from the upper level to the lower level, just like extracting fuel from a vehicle tank (as it happens in the movies). While that if you need move water from lower level to upper level, you need a pump. The pump contributes gravitational potential energy to the water as its height increases, but it needs energy, because the energy is only transformed, first from electric or quimic energy (fuel) to cinetic energy, and then, from cinetic energy to gravitational potential energy.
    The explanation is simple, the energy needed to raise the water from the lower level is greater than the energy provided by the suction force generated by the water outlet at the upper level.

      Thats what I was thinking, but it actually it kind of makes sense. It spreservation of anergy. Once they fill the tanks they put energy into it. If you open the main valve water can not flow unless there is a flow on the other side. hence instead of pulling air they are pulling water, thats why its so important to seal the tank well. It this video is real gravity will be the main source of energy.

    • @hhstuff6725
      @hhstuff6725 Před 3 lety +2

      @@Martinsebas77 you will only get energy out as much as the energy you put into the system. minus inefficiency.
      you put 200 liters of water in the barrel that will be what you'll potentially get from it.

      @hhstuff6725 Před 3 lety

      @@Martinsebas77 you're thinking about a scale. where heavier weight on one end will drops and lift the lighter thing at the other end. this is not it.
      and stream of water turning a turbine generating electricity is not because gravity is free also. there's energy from the sun that 'lift' the water and put it upstream.

    • @themanagementwarrior
      @themanagementwarrior Před 3 lety +2

      Obviously you went to school and not learned critical analysis.
      Here's how it works. Notice that they did not fill the tank fully. There's remaining air space above and the tank is sealed air tight. When they open the exhaust valve, the water in the tank starts to go down. The air in the air chamber then sucks water from the source and that causes the perpetual water flow. As simple as that.

    so you pump the water into the water tower and have gravity fed watering i don't believe it'd pull water from the river without the ground being lower than the river but filling that one tank should save a ton of legwork carrying buckets further than just to the top of tank and if ya need more water pressure or flow just raise the tank up on a higher platform... preferably when empty or increase tank size so more weight of water pushing down the hose I've made 100s of micro water towers from food grade cleaned plastic 55gal drums and garden hose adapters with a ball valve i even take one with in the car with 'tons' of garden hose so i can place on hill and send the water down to plants then just a short trip up to the barrel to fill and the hose distributes it to the plants so i don't have to walk as far a lil solar panel water pump could slowly fill the tank and then have an overflow back to the river or to another tank and water would be constantly available for watering plants, setting up timers and individual drip lines to the pots is extra but then you got it so fancy it only needs minimal maintenance

    • @SnowingNapalm
      @SnowingNapalm Před 3 lety

      i suppose you could use a stationary bicycle to power a waterpump to fill the tower then you'd still get in your legwork exercise but it'd depend on how off-grid you'd wanna be or having ease of grid tied tank filling

    it cannot work. if the water source is lower than the outlet, it cannot work, even if you (senselessly) put a tank in between. It only works if the outlet is deeper than the source. The only thing that can pump up is the water ram, but it needs the energy of flowing water.
