Yes, Clarkson doesn't tolerate fools gladly. He also doesn't filter his words - It's how he probably is with everyone - without distinction! I for example, cannot stand nauseating syrupy talk - it comes over as fake to me, so it is often refreshing to hear a bit of straight speaking - it may disarm the faint-hearted agreed, but at least you know who you are dealing with! My grandfather was brusque with his words, but had a kind heart nevertheless!

How about needing to undergo a retraining in the military after consistent use of racist slurs his military comrades. (have you heard the recordings?) Misogyny? Just peruse his recent memoir. (or do a quick search of the web)
In contrast, the self-victimizing accusations that HE & Meghan hurl against others are not based on any consistent series of incidents documented in public record...
I assume that most accusations in general society are probably unverifiable and/or subjective, whether true or not. He-said/she-said scenarios, ridiculous misapplication/overuse, and unfortunate smear campaigns have led to these words/phenomena "losing meaning" when they lack proper context and clear, balanced evidence.
BUT when the the evidence does stack up, that matters...especially in situations where the law protects people from discrimination, and/or when ethical standards are applicable. It may be harder to distinguish the truth with so much "noise" around these issues, but on the other hand if everybody stops bothering to make the distinctions, then real victims will pay the price. The one difference between the actual medieval punishment and how it was reimagined in GoT was that originally, the woman was made to walk in her 'shift' (undergarment, a loose dress in times when bras & knickers hadn't been invented yet), which was the epitome of humiliation at the time. Similar to the legend of Lady Godiva, who did not ride 'naked', but 'bare' (meaning in her shift, on horseback with no saddle - 'bareback' - this being how a lady of any kind of social standing would be demeaned). It would have been helpful to Jeremy if he'd included the reference to make it clear what he meant, because then She Who Thinks She Is Almighty would not have had the leg to stand on that has caused Woke Amazon bosses to cancel him.

I think they're dangerous, too. There is a degree of difference between the words "forgiveness" and "mercy". The former is normally a response to a negative act, but the latter doesn't have to be: a lack of mercy can arise simply from the character traits of cruelty and ruthlessness. I think it's the latter that makes these two dangerous - especially if they continue to get support from media, businesses and individuals, no matter what they do.
Their changing stories about why they left the RF, along with the information uncovered by Tom Bower which suggests that they had always planned to leave, indicates a merciless attitude not only towards people who might speak against them, but also towards those who won't - or in the RF's case, can't, given them what they want.

And I’m definitely more offended by Harry’s wife and Harry than I ever could be by Jeremy. In fact, I’m struggling to think of an incident where she’s opened her gob that hasn’t offended me. Exactly. Jeremy was speaking figuratively NOT literally. That was his opinion. Do not apologise to Narcissists. They weaponize other's truly felt apologies to make themselves bigger victims in the public eye.

Honestly, Jermey Clarkson reaching out to Harry rather than Meghan was out of respect for both parties. Back in the day, men address men instead of that man’s wives. It used to mean a form of respect.
Respect to the man; stating “hey I’m not trying to go around you to talk to your wife. Respect to the woman; hey I’m reaching out to your husband, so that others don’t think something is going on between us two, in respect to your reputation.

I know this sounds silly but I still see this now for example with watching the different Real Housewives shows. When the men get involved and address one of the wives there's usually uproar but when they speak to the other husband about the issue it is usually considered acceptable and respectable. I know not the greatest ex using reality TV but it popped in my head 🤷🏻‍♀️

      @maribelgranados80 Před rokem

@@RmP_NeLA that’s a good example as for nowadays. Just means some things are still being taught as a proper way of doing things. Then again reality tv always has to be dramatic, so that when the producers probably ask those men to address the women rather than the husbands. Lol

Narcissist are the worst with hypocrisy...they will have hard down nasty argument with you about something they are upset with and demand an apology or they won't speak with you then turn right around and do the exact same so called bad deed you have committed and will never apologize. They are just plain old evil.

Clarkson's article and Game of Thrones style punishment was in response to MM's Medieval Times reference and the curtsey. He actually apologized 3 times - the first one was a tweet on Dec 19. 'Oh dear. I’ve rather put my foot in it. In a column I wrote about Meghan, I made a clumsy reference to a scene in Game of Thrones and this has gone down badly with a great many people. I’m horrified to have caused so much hurt and I shall be more careful in future.'

Family can be difficult and messy. I went nc with both of my parents for years. Eventually found it in my heart to forgive them and let go of the past. I am aware of their flaws and shortcomings. But they are my parents, it’s ok. Meghan’s father supported her for years, borderline spoiled her. He does one mistake, abide a huge one, and she’s done with him? I’d say Meghan doesn’t like his optics and is ashamed of him, being blue collar and such. She’s part of the rich and fancy now. Speaks volumes to her character.

I recall a reporter saying that Jeremy Clarkson's daughter openly criticized her father for this comment...... also, that she was very close to her father, and she loved him very much. I think this is important. It takes a very strong "love" to be able to criticize someone close to you. It's a pity that M&H aren't able to do that. x

Well said Pluto!! 🤗🤗 Love how you give such, clear, crisp and concise arguments for all of your observations💯. MM & Harry appear to want to shape the world according to THEIR view only. I don't see inclusion of anyone else's way of being. IMO their "GOOD WORKS" consist of calling out "EVERYONE'S BAD BEHAVIOR ACCORDING TO THEM" with no solution or avenue for forgiveness" i.e. Piers Morgon, Jeremy, Prince William, King Charles 3, Camilla, Princess Kate, Thomas Markle, the British Press, CZcamsrs, etc etc. Is this their life's mission?? Yes, Pluto perhaps MM & Harry should be CANCELLED. I think that's already happening 🤣🤣🤗

You took the words right out of my mouth. I had exactly the same thought about the Jeremy Clarkson issue. I thought his allusion to the Game of Thrones scene was rather gross, but he is known for his weird and outrageous, over-the-top sense of humour. Other than that one sentence, the rest of his article said exactly what most of us were thinking. Nevertheless - gross.
However, since people are being cancelled right and left for things they said and did 30, even 40 years ago, what about what HazBeen did (and has clearly admitted doing) just 15 or 20 years ago? Where is the anti-misogyny crowd now? Trashing, bullying, back-peddling, misogyny, and most of all, lying - these are all hallmarks of the hypocritical duo's behaviour and brand. If it's sauce for the goose, why not for the gander?
This despicable pair wants to control everything and everyone who calls them out for their duplicity and failings. Horrible people.

I have disliked Clarkson for decades. However, I fully support his Game of Thrones article. Cersei Markle deserves all of that - and as the stories continue to emerge of all her yachtgirl and puck bunny activities, not to mention Soho House stuff (presumably named after the notorious part of London famed for its strip clubs and red light district) should not prove too difficult for her

Just to update you from UK 🇬🇧
Jeremy Clarkson actually apologised three times (not just twice as stated). His third apology was a longer heartfelt apology on his instagram account: quote: "One of the strange things I’ve noticed in recent times is that whenever an MP or a well-known person is asked to apologise for something, no matter how heartfelt or profound that apology may be, it’s never enough for the people who called for it in the first place.
So I’m going to try and buck the trend this morning with an apology for the things I said in a Sun column recently about Meghan Markle. I really am sorry. All the way from the balls of my feet to the follicles on my head. This is me putting my hands up. It's a mea culpa with bells on.
“Usually, I read what I’ve written to someone else before filing, but I was home alone on that fateful day, and in a hurry. So when I’d finished, I just pressed send. And then, when the column appeared the next day, the land mine exploded.”
Harry and Meghan STILL rejected it, so now it's backfired on them.
