Wynton is one of the best trumpet players of this era. His music swings at all levels. For the happiness that his music brings to all, I wish him a long happy and healthy life.

Maurice Andre who was recognized as the best Classical trumpeter of his time said Wynton would be the best. There's a lot of things to be said of Wynton. But he's an ambassador. I know there's lots of unrecognized players. But Wynton is a master of both languages. In the 80s he laid down some awesome classical recordings then became a huge proponent of jazz.

This was the real wynton sound.. just like miles, Louis or dizzy. Jazz AND Music is SOUND . Pop Musicians have their personality and identity sound.
