Hi Natasha! I know this video is old, but do you still use your Noe? It was the first bag I bought new $650 in 2003. Ended up selling it. 14 years later I wanted it again. Got one off EBay for $850 from a wealthy girl in California who went on a shopping spree and her husband was angry. She carried it a couple times but got something on it. Cleaned it off still didn’t use it. Since 2015 I have conditioned it periodically. I am using it now and absolutely love it. Really need the shoulder strap. I am old and it just suits me now. It is like new with a gorgeous patina. My favorite LV ever.
LV will dry and crack from improper storage and artificial heat. I condition mine but LV says not to put anything on them.

Hi, I replaced my drawstring with baseball mitt string. It was the same patina as bag. Went into LV store wearing it and received numerous compliments from SA. They didn't notice string wasn't authentic. Bought from local cobbler.

@@NatashaHarper you can search for shoe repair shops and try sporting good stores. Make sure you measure length; better to go longer and cut. I cut mine in an angle.

Maybe you can take out the white coconutoil with a blowdryer. And wipe it away if it melts
Thank you Dani. Blow drying really isn't very safe for leather as it will dry it out and with this can cause cracking.
Or a warm damp towell if you leather is not feeling dry
Water is not a friend to vachetta leather, this will stain it. I know. I have been stumped really on what to do. I have just accepted the fact that it will have those weird white marks on them.
I totally understand your sentimentality. It would break my heart as well. Just think, years from now, you’ll know that your Noe was with you in the hospital when you were giving birth. This is the beauty of LV. that it will grow old and dark and scarred with you like an old friend.
