I don't think I've ever skipped a rise against song when listening to music, but this one.... I will rewind and play from the beginning if I'm not paying 100% complete attention to every glorious note, lyric, and instrument.
It cracked me up to see the size of the tiny venue they’re playing. Rise Against was huge when I became a fan (right after Sufferer of the Witness) and now they’re considered a household name in this genre!
Rise against is really good live. It's unfortunate that some bands dont sound nearly as good as they do in studio but Rise Against can do one hell of a job live. I highly recommend seeing them in person if you get the opportunity to!
this song means so much, being addicted to painkillers especially after the death of my mother from a cancer related suicide, idk i just connect with this song so much.. tim is a very insightful person.. idk if hes struggled with drugs or whatever. but i can imagine the temptation i would have in his position, sufferer and the witness is hands down the best album ever made. these guys have kept me alive through many restless nights, do you find yourself counting the hours your awake then when night covers he sky you find yourself doing the same?

Let two people listen to a well-written song for the first time and I can almost guarantee they won't have identical interpretations.
