God bless our Pope! So much misunderstanding and I think so many of us want to hear what we want to hear. I believe no one should be without the blessings from the church. That’s one way we can move forward with our relationship with Christ! ❤
Actually this was a reasonably good interview with respect to the Church doctrine and Pope Francis was clear about the important issues. I agree he missed an opportunity to answer about the "conservative bishops" as basically stating there is no such thing in the Catholic Church. Bishops may or may not have "conservative" views as everyone being human and born in different circumstances, with develop biases. We'll never agree on a definition of "conservative" because it's going to change over time. Born in Texas in 1960, and by the time I reached the voting age, I would have called myself a "Conservative Democrat". My family and most in my community believed in helping people get on their feet if they had experienced a job loss, serious health impacts, death in the family, or any other sort of sudden event in the livelihood of a family. However, there should always be limits because it's fiscally responsible. We felt that governments should be run just like you run your family. Be prudent, thrifty, and careful how you spend your money. And base it on a group morality, which was natural if you were a Catholic in central Texas. The majority being German immigrants from southern Germany (Catholics) and Hispanics from Mexico, also Catholic. We were in harmony, because Catholicism gave us the standard of Charity and rules to apply for everyone. This naturally formed the politics because you grew up in it. Hence, even to this day, I would say I am a Conservative Democrat, because it was how I was "formed". It is the religious formation I received as a part of the laity. Unfortunately today and long ago, I stopped voting for Democrats because they no longer represented me in that all important formation as an adult. The closest candidate we have now is RFK Jr, however he has failed the test on life at conception, so again he's not viable. Trump is still our best chance to stay aligned to the will of God, though still imperfect. It's ironic our 2 Catholic presidential options in November, can't meet the basic qualifications for being Catholic, and would normally be excommunicated formally in the Church, if it weren't for fear of repercusions since Vatican II. Anyway, I can sleep at night knowing I want to follow the will of God and want to remain in his graces. Jesus Christ is my King, and he is "conservative" because he wants to save all of mankind and His Father's creation for eternity. You can't be more "conservative" than that, in my humble uneducated opinion.

What is bad about dogma? Everybody, everybody, that is nice sounding box, Christ said: “many are called, but few are chosen” Every one is invited to a Christian way of living. You are free to take it. If you don’t , you are not part of these body of unity, the mystical body of Christ.we need clear answers, no political posturing.

Thanks for the critique of the CBS fluff interview of Pope Francis. Also, thanks the uplifting final segment on the Marian processions in France, Slovakia, and USA. Isn't it remarkable the massive numbers of people (mostly youth) embarking on these processions toward the eternal.
I think you got this wrong on blessing EWTN Arroyo. I've read the document and don't recall anything asking for couples to come forward. Could you tell me the numbered section in Fiducia Supplicans?
There is a parts that say, blessings of SAME SEX COUPLES and couples , in IRREGULAR relationships
Fourth paragraph in Fiducia Supplicans under presentation it states
“It is precisely in this context that one can understand the possibility of blessing couples in irregular situations and same-sex couples without officially validating their status or changing in any way the Church’s perennial teaching on marriage.”
Conservative is a secular term that really means faithfulness to God’s righteous standards and the apostolic preaching by authority of the sacred Scriptures. The word "conservative" as we understand it today does not appear in the Bible to describe God's faithful people. The concept of being faithful, obedient, or righteous is prevalent throughout the scriptures, but these ideas are conveyed using different terms appropriate to the languages and contexts of the times in which the biblical texts were written. Terms like "faithful," "righteous," "steadfast," and "holy" are more commonly used to describe the qualities of God's people.
The term "conservative" in its modern political or cultural sense is a relatively recent development and would not have been part of the biblical lexicon.
It doesnt matter what the pope says; it only matters what he does!

Context of “couples”. There are not nine uses. Effectively there are three and a fourth just says anyone honest should be able to understand this simple document because we have CCC 2478 and avoid the sins in CCC 2477.

Not one of the uses describe someone wanting their sin affirmed. Each use in fact is to prevent it to appear that the church recognizes a sinful person union. Paragraphs 4, 5 and 11 literally say unions/couples are not blessed.

From the outside, looking in the American Church is becoming radicalised with a propensity to criticism of the Pope's documents/statements bordering on a lack of charity and a viewpoint that lacks insight and historical context.
The early Church had women non ordained deaconesses mostly in the Greek Church with clearly defined roles.
In regards to why the Vatican produced Fuducia Supplicans, it was a response to certain European churches such as the German Church who were already blessing same sex couples. They are not happy with the document, which should inform anyone with charity to see it one that seeks to curb rather than libralise Church doctrine.
The American Church is splintering with schismatics and sedevacantists on the right and heretical posterings on the left. The faithful centre seems to grow smaller by the day.
Please gentlemen, ask Our Lady if this kind of commentary is harmful or beneficial to building up the Church, the people of God.

I think I grave mistake has been made regarding apparitions. Most apparitions are acknowledged after the fact very few have been concluded as authentic before hand. This I believe was completed unnecessary. This papacy has been anything but and canon law has been ignored by Francis. Open your eyes stop making excuses.
