    That looks like a really nice ‘ride’.
    I often worry about regulation, because nobody needs any sort of license to use over here.
    I actually gained my powerboat ‘ticket’ years ago, and it makes you realise what you have to learn to manage planing craft. So many people come to grief because they just assume it’s easy! You need a careful respect for such power….
    Thanks again Peter.

      Yeah, I'm looking forward to getting out on the water on this. I'm going to let a more experienced rider get the B-roll video, but I'm looking forward to trying it too. You definitely have to respect the power on these, but it'll be fun to try!

      @@PeterLoweOne go on a training course… mine was a week on power boat handling, and safety boat management. As well as being fun, it was worth doing. You learn rescue, towing etc. (I had to do mine as a dinghy sailing instructor)

    Supercharged are great, but the naturally aspirated 160 LX Ultra gets my vote. Less fuel used, cheaper fuel, less money to purchase and less maintenance required, with 95% of the fun.

      Actually, I think I'd do the same thing. I guess it would depend on what I want from the watercraft.

      It’s definitely not 95% of the fun

      @@justthisguy1948 Many lakes in the area have speed limits. I can get to the 45 MPH speed limit in a snap. Supercharged skis give you limited bragging rights.

      How fast? I have the ultra lx. It’s pretty fast for me.. is the 310 overkill? Sounds like fun and I want to get another one :)

    How involved is it to add the camera?

      My understanding is that it's quite simple. Basically plug and play.

    Is it possible to accelerate while in reverse?

    • @PeterLoweOne
      @PeterLoweOne  Před rokem +1

      I'm not sure what you mean by accelerate, but it does have the capability to move in reverse.
