Cody you are very lucky. Your boss at the end of the video is very pretty. 😂. Good to see the behind the scenes and all the work that goes into making your ranch run. Thanks for the videos
Awesome you need to go to a farm auction and buy a used silo a small one for the over flow that way you don't have to scramble as bad to unload or in a pinch about 60 barrel's with lids ..
Great video again. Like the farm vids where you're not always putting yourself in danger. I like to watch you work at the rodeo you're a heck of an athlete.
Curious.....what's the ratio of sweet feed to just grain???? Neat way you're letting folks know what all goes into taking care of those athletes of yours! Good Job!!!!
Cody, interesting you feed the bulls ground feed with some straw in it for filler the way it looks. These bulls are for slaughter I assume as a rodeo bull wouldn’t want to be to heavy. I grew up on a farm and would fatten a bull on heavy grass silage or poor alfalfa silage with little grain but we didn’t have many bulls to fatten. A semi load a month I would think is a lot of feed and a good deal of bulls eating it. Do you feed them as like a steer or does your pastures dry up so that grass is limited? You said you’ve got a pasture of Mexican cattle as they must be difficult to put weight efficiently on the hoof?
What are you feeding exactly? Like why is it ground? I come from a show cattle background and we didn’t do any grind. I know a lot of feedlots did ground corn but that was about it.
Why did you leave all the room in the green feeders? Let it mound up and shut it off why not push that feed in the corners make it all even across instead of mounding up especially if your trying to get it all
It isn't all rainbows. But grateful to have feed for your beautiful bulls/cows/calves.
I really enjoy the "behind the scenes" episodes. Thank you Cody.

Great video!
Nice Edit. Bull Feed at the Flying W...
You need to find some seed tender boxes to use for filling your feeders w/ loader tractor
Wow that's a lot of feed every month. Gotta spend money to make money sometimes. I think a grinder would definitely be a benefit. Stay safe!
That was just enough for one month? I was wondering how long it lasted.
Love being in on the day to day ranchin’
Impressive!

How many acres do have? Do you have year round workers who stay working the rang while you are off Roding?
Really curious how much that truckload costs?

Can I hire on to be on the feed crew ?
