I’ve always felt a little bad for Kodak. He obviously isn’t the brightest flower in the field but he is a pretty strong writer and could really use his writing to inspire many south Florida kids in his communities (and outside of his communities) if he could just stay out of trouble. It’s unfortunate that he was raised into all of this and seems to be at a place where he’s stuck. He still has a lot of potential if he can clean himself up.

I was living in Miami during Kodaks rise. When he was 16? He was already KNOWN & big. Nobody would play with him. He is so respected. What I do not understand? He was already rich & successful. He comes from nothing. He was the BIGGEST thing in Florida. His debut album hit #3. ALL the little jits in florida wanted to be like him. He threw it all away to prove he was “real”. When he gets out he could still achieve success, but music has changed so much. Kodak really did have a million chances.

There is. Federal laws still consider weed a Schedule I illegal drug nationally. BUT...this little thing call the constitution allows states to govern their population according to their own laws that somewhat supercede the federal laws, depending on the situation. It's crazy and confusing. I do know that we'll never see deug laws change federally in huge sweeping mandates that makes weed legal nationally because there's so many people serving federal time on weed charges. What are they gonna do with/for them, their records and the destruction of their and their families' lives to rectify the situation? That's the biggest issue about it IMO.
But we can't even get entire states on the same page. I can have up to 4 grams of weed in my possession in Houston for personal use and not even get a ticket. But right outside of Harris County, where Houston is, is Fort Bend County and I'll immediately be arrested for the same amount of weed and face a pretty stiff punishment for it. I live in Ft. Bend County, but Harris County is less than 3 miles from my house. So I can go get weed there, but I better not get caught with it at my house down the street!
I recently moved out of broward county and can say Kodak is a shining light representing the best of the worst coming out of the area. The whole vibe is people who are reluctantly aggressive and victims of the circumstance that is perpetuating due to the melting pot getting to fucked up. People just not adapting properly because everyone wants to be the alpha.
Also sadly the hood doesn’t seem to rep anyone who comes up from the area, almost no one was bumping Kodak but myself. Although I’m not from the area originally but was there for work. So outside perspective

I'm an all American, handsome blond haired non felon and the firearm purchase last November is still sitting in the store after 4 or 5 trips back and forth. I'm from Buffalo but grew up in Canada, and once drove to Colorado. On the way back to Buffalo, Google Maps told us to drive into canada, then back into the states.
