- The toy submarine in this link appears to be very similar to the one in video: amzn.to/2OFkIUZ (affiliate link to Amazon US)
This is the same as the submarine in the video: amzn.to/2Ia9kz7 (affiliate link to Amazon UK) 🙂👍 This also looks similar : rover.ebay.com/rover/1/710-53...
It's...honestly kind've adorable to watch this little thing. c:
🙂👍
I would like to see some footage or pictures from the Drone itself.
The footage was very grainy. The are videos from other people showing this. If I do any more videos with this I will include this. 😀👍
You should make another video at night with the lights on. I bet that would look neat!
Good point. The lights are good on this sub. I should have done a night one while we were on holiday. I'll have to wait and see if we go away again to a place with a pool.
A tip for new users.
I bought this for use in my raised garden pond with a viewing window. First it was tested in a bath and the sub sank to the bottom and the hover up function was not powerful enough to lift the unit off the bottom. I had used eneloop pro rechargeable AA batteries which were too heavy. When replaced with standard (non rechargeable) batteries the sub worked perfectly. When weighed on scales the rechargeable batteries were 50% heavier than the standard batteries - hence the problem.

I agree. Battery weight is critical. I had to use lower Mah NiMh ones to get the weight right and one ballast screw on the front for the balance.
@@RCModders I cant make mine submerge?? any suggestion
That's pretty cool.
Thank you!
Really cool toy 😁👍👍
Thank you!
I have the same thing it's so cute and compatible. The camera is not in 720 but it has some cool graffics
Agree. This is a great little toy! 😀👍
how does the remote work underwater? RF only travels only a few centimeters underwater, so it must be some other method. Any info?
It works by infrared control, not RC. Good question.
So water must be transparent I guess.
A low frequency travels father underwater
COOL video
Thank you
It'd be great if you posted a video showing video the submarine took so we can see what kind of quality it has.
I will next time
Thank you.
Shame that only after u c wat u filmed when using it and not 2 a phone or screen when using it but looks cool.
nice pool
Thank you. We were on holiday in Tenerife! 😀👍
Much fun than drone
Thank you for watching my video. Yes this was fun! 🙂👍
cool! !!
Thank you
So I've seen 2 different versions of this on submarine ebay, one called Submariner Camera and this one. Are there any differences in them?
I'm not sure - but I think that the same toy is sold under a number of brands. 😀👍
i am sure you could add some weight to that also...this would make it disend faster/deeper and surface slower...
Any extra weight would prevent it floating. The impeller pulls it down when it is spinning.
nice vide
Thank you!
Incredible cool, did ou try the videocam and photos?
+Kyrre Strøm I only had the iPad on holiday with me, so wouldn't have been able to upload to imovie, so I didn't. When I did try it in the bath I wasn't that impressed, but it did work. At this price and size I was more than happy just to get static dive and good depth. You do have to stand over the top of it to get more than a few feet range below the surface though with the infrared control. A good fun toy.
i wonder buy one my self, i,d like it better with batteries than chargeable submarines, i mean it runs longer time before it runs out of power than the other ones. How long time can you record with the cam?
+Kyrre Strøm I don't know. But I don't think the quality will be that good. The sub ran for a long time on the 1300 mah NiMh batteries. When I put 2400 ones in it just sank as they were too heavy.
Can it be modded to a 5.8ghz camera for fpv?
I do not think this would be possible - as it is so small. Plus 5.8ghz will not travel through any amount of water. Good question though.
i wish the creators of the sub knew how subs actually go up and down in water
I know this isn't quite the same as a real one in operation - but given the size and cost, I think that it does pretty well! 😀👍
Are there any submarine with camera whic can give live camera?
Given the problems of transmitting high frequency video signals through water, usually the live video feed seems to be via a wire to the surface. Then either a direct connection to a screen or from a floating buoy attached to the wire with a video transmitter in it. Hope this helps.
Does it fully submerge
Yes
I dont get how you see what you are filming. Has it a monitor in the controls?
you cannot see what the submarine is filming until you download a video file from the submarine when it is out of the water, using a mini USB lead to a computer. I hope that answers the question for you. 🙂👍
So is it radio controlled? How does it get a signal under water?
It uses infrared (like a tv remote). 😀👍
Thank you so much!
How long did it last with the batteries you bought?
It was a quite a while ago that I did this video. These batteries were quite high capacity & the power drain from the tiny motors is quite small, so I would say quite a while. More than half an hour I think. 😀👍
does it have a live camara
It has a basic camera which you switch on and off from the infrared transmitter. You can then download it with a micro USB to USB cable to a PC and see the footage. The image quality is not great, but it does work - more of a novelty feature in my view. I forgot to use it when I did this video when we were on holiday last year.
@@RCModders so it dont has a live feature
@@RCModders and can you pls let uss see the camera records???
sorry, I don't have any recordings made with this sub. There are plenty of examples on CZcams for example : czcams.com/video/POztyRuW0Pc/video.html 🙂👍
👀👍👍👍
🙏🏻👍
where can you get it from
Try here. This looks to be the same: rover.ebay.com/rover/1/710-53481-19255-0/1?ff3=4&toolid=11800&pub=5575486648&campid=5338486327&mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fitm%2FSubmariner-Camera-RC-Submarine-Remote-Control-Underwater-Toy%2F153988588291%3Fepid%3D17012780797%26hash%3Ditem23da6f6303%3Ag%3AVAcAAOSw0t5e-pey
Did you try the sub with Alakline batteries? The rechargable batteries you are using
are lighter that alkaline batteries. I think that would explain why you are fighting to stay down.
You need a wee bit more ballast.
I'll have to try that next time I get this model out. 😀👍
i want that
😀👍
Why does the propeller suddenly stop on my submarine
If it gets out of range, or if you use it in direct sunlight the infrared controller will lose signal. These are probably the more common reasons I would expect.
esto lo uso Makiman en un video :D
Yes : czcams.com/video/aDsGoSoHGb0/video.html
How fast is it?
Not very fast. But a cheap way to have some fun. And easy to take on holiday.
How big is it?
65mm (2.5 inches) tall 110mm (4.5 inches) long I think. :)
Can i find it on ebay???
+Capitão Explosão yes
Yes
Next vid show how sub camera looks underwater
I will when I get this out again. The camera is quite low quality - i tested it in the bath, which is why I only used the Go-pro in the swimming pool. It does work though.
Cuanto cuesta, y a dónde lo benden
Google translate : "How much does it cost, and where is it blessed?" they seem to be about £130 on UK ebay. Thank you for watching my video 😀👍

what country make this R/C camera minisub
Probably made in China. They seem to be quite hard to find.
Try ebay,aliexpress or amazon.
Most mini-sub are made in China
how deeply it flows on the remote control ????
Hi I think that the pool was about 1.2 to 1.4 metres deep at the shallow end where I was filming and the submarine did get to the bottom. Although the range of the RC does reduce with depth and you need to remain above it when it is deep. If it looses radio signal the sub just floats to the surface as it needs the internal propeller running to keep it below the surface. As soon as it regains signal it starts working again.
what radio frequency? 2,4 Ghz wi -fi ?
2.4ghz cannot penetrate water at all really in my experience. My big RC submarine (also on my channel) uses 40Mhz FM. This sub is controlled by infrared.
Can I use this in places like lakes where waters can get to about 3 or so metres? I'm here from nz
Also any easy range mods
would not reccomend this submarine. I had one and with in seconds of driving in water it stopped working and sank
Very sorry to hear that. Mine only did that when I used batteries that were too heavy or if it had too much ballast added underneath. 😀👍
How much???
I think I paid around £50, but that was a long time ago.
80$ in amazon
Вот это да
Translation : "Wow". Thank you! 😀
needs weight to sink it a litte not heavy enough
the battery weight is critical. it only stays down under power
berlepa harganya
Translation : "worth the price" - I think so 😀👍
The bottom grate dosent even go on piece of crap
I'm sorry to hear you had trouble with yours. I didn't have have this problem.😀👍
