I'm working on a 2001 Toyota Corolla. Sometimes, when you signal a turn, you'll hear the flasher click really fast. But I don't think anything is lighting up when it does that. (I only see the car from time to time, it's not here with me. I can't go outside and check.) Then, if you turn off the turn signal and then turn it back on, it starts working normally again. The flasher is super expensive, and I cannot get a cheap universal flasher for it that works. I don't want to buy a flasher and then find out that it's something else. Could it be that the bulbs or the turn signal switch are working sporadically? Or is it most likely the flasher?
