Bloodstained 2018 Secret Area 1 - Galleon Minerva (katana req)

This is how to access the 1st secret area at the start of the game using the Katana special attack - Forward, Back , Forward + Attack.
Stand on the furthest spot away from where you need to go then backdash.

Does it have to be that specific katana? I have the nodachi and the special attack isn't working.

This was in 2018 demo, the glitches and tricks like that may not work anymore. I don't have game yet to test it in official release yet.

@@septeries They might have removed it. Hopefully you get a double jump later on or something. It's amazing so far, though,
