Hallo, sind die Solarmodule denn innerhalb weniger Minuten abmontierbar? Wenn nicht sollte es ja eigentlich schwierigkeiten mit der H-Zulassung geben. Wie hast du das Problem gelöst?
Es sind sowohl die Module abschraubbar als auch alternativ der ganze Dachträger abnehmbar, daher sollte es hinsichtlich H-Zulassung kein Problem sein. Es würde zwar sicherlich mehr als ein paar Minuten dauern, aber könnte im Ernstfall gemacht werden. Ich hatte jedenfalls beim letzten TÜV-Termin keine Diskussion diesbezüglich.
Hi Mike, wieder mal ein ***** Video. Exzellent erläutert und klasse gemacht. In dieser Art habe ich mir den Einbau der Solarpanels auch vorgestellt, mit genau den 150 A Paneelen der Tiger. Wahrscheinlich wird aber der Platz auf dem Sprinter zwischen den C-Schienen nicht ausreichen. Ich habe mir Muster der Aluprofile bestellt und werde messen. Notfalls benötige ich eine Sonderanfertigung der Haltewinkel auf den Schienen, durch die ich ein paar Zentimeter an Breite gewinne. Mal schauen, ob das klappt. Viele Grüße, Klaus.
Hi Klaus, die Paneele von Tigerexped kann ich auch wirklich empfehlen. Und beim T1 passen sie halt auch zusätzlich noch wie maßgeschneidert zwischen die Holme vom Dachträger :)
Hi Mario, you are right. The MPPT casing has a screw at the side which is for attaching a ground cable. In fact, you can see my ground cable in the video (16:01), but I should have put it in the diagram as well. Thanks for mentioning! :)
Yes and I would still like to upgrade! But I couldn't find any good one yet. In fact, I already bought 3 different models, but I didn't like any of them, so I sent them back. If you ever find a good one, let me know!

I am not saying this is wrong however you left the edge protector on the solar panel. While this does not cause any harm it is recommended to remove them
24.12 % efficiency is total bullshit. Excuse my French... 24% is extremely expensive space-grade equipment. My calculator says: 20.82. which is much more realistic. Never trust the efficiency rating. You know the surface area and the output. Which makes it very easy to calculate the real efficiency.

I used 40x40 profiles. Total lenghth is 2.40m and width is 1.44m
How about the grounding of the MPPT? Isn't that necessary? Congratulations to your amazing looking van though!!!
