So... quite a different edit from the last one that I made about Palermo, huh? He might not be a good person and he may be the cause of a certain character's death, but I can't help but love him. He's so complex, so difficult to understand and I think that this season really did him justice.
In this edit, I really wanted to concentrate on his relationship with other characters, in particular with Berlin, Helsinky and, last but not least, Nairobi. Many people blame him for her death, and I agree that if he would have done things differently maybe she would still be alive, but I also believe that he understood his mistakes and apologized for them.
Yeah, he's my favorite character, deal with it.

This hurt me so much.. I was crying after Nairobi died and the last episode of season 4 absolutely crushed me. It always has been my deepest desire to see the REAL bond between Berlin and Palermo. I just wished they would kiss, just once. After it happened, I was just so happy.. Sadly it lasted not long. I still don't know how to forgive Berlin for leaving Palermo like that.. I mean, sure, he could do what he wanted to, but Palermo.. He just stood there shocked, in tears, literally torn apart because he lost the love of his life. He got the chance to prove his love and open his heart for him and was later left with only one half. Sure, you can blame Palermo for Nairobis death as much as you want, but it wasn't only his fault. They were tricked by that bastard, he couldn't have known.. I don't want to blame him for literally everything, people make mistakes and learn from them and in that scene with Helsinki he sure did learn from his mistake. He knew he hurt his friend unintentionally and apologized in, I think, a very good way. It shocked me to hear that he wanted to kill himself for many many years and that he didn't want to hurt Helsinki, that's why he was such an asshole to him.
In my opinion Palermo deserved better. He's my favourite character from the very beginning of season 3 because I liked his way of being, but now I finally see him as a human. Not as a thief or a heartless maniac, but as a broken soul who just wanted to be loved..
And his name is just fantastic. It fits so damn well.

Nobody Important I read it and I couldn’t agree more. I also liked Palermo from the start, I loved his attitude (and his accent) but now I see the real Palermo and it makes me love him even more. He lived with his heart broken for so long that he just didn’t know how to act around people he cared about, because I believe he really cared about others. Of course he messed up, but that’s what we all do

I don't believe any of that 1% bs, I believe that Berlin actually loved Palermo as much as Palermo loved him and that's exactly why he choose to walk away, because Berlin was dying and he knew that if Palermo had had his love, had they stayed together Palermo would have died with him, he wouldn't have survived his lost, and I want to believe Berlin loved him so much he didn't want that fate for him.
Berlin said it, they were soulmates and he'd never felt for anyone what he felt for him and that little smile when Palermo was holding his face, just before kissing him... Berlin loved Palermo too but he had to be at peace with his death and he couldn't do it if he stayed with Palermo because he would have had a reason to live...

He is one of the best characters in the show . Yes he is complex and sometimes a bad person but he has reasons and he knows his mistakes.He has a broken heart and I hope he will be happy in next season because he deserves it.
Finally someone who understands me
We all hide a palermo deep in our souls. We all have been betrayed. We all have made the wrong choices. We all have had several mental breakdowns. We all have not been loved back. This is why he is my favourite character. I can totally relate to him in many parts of his life.
I just hope Season 5 will find him happier. He deserves it.

It was clear, from that first scene of Martín and Sergio in Martin’s apartment that he was a troubled and tortured soul; a man that has been broken beyond his own comprehension. He was always an asshole to everyone, but the one sore spot he had was when Andres was brought up, just like when Palermo was insulting Nairobi and looked smug up until she threw Berlin in his face.
This character has been my favourite starting midway through season 3 and I’m so happy that people have now started to love him, too.

Holy shit what a masterful video!! I especially love the superposition between The Kiss™ and that "monologue" Parlermo had in Part 3 about how those who are beloved can live without attachments, while those who love are doomed to suffer. That really puts things into perspective, I want to cry now.

Initially I dint like Palermo much. It was because the way he treated Helsinki and that he was the primary reason for Nairobi's death. But later after getting to know about him, I felt like wow what a man he is ! Palermo's love for Berlin always touches our hearts ! He knows it is an unrequited love yet he doesnt stop loving him. This makes him so special !Palermo was deeply in love with Berlin but he was left in pain after their meaningful kiss. Yes, Berlin had all the rights to choose his preferences. Perhaps if Berlin chose to stay with Palermo, his heart would never have been shattered like it did in his last marrriage/relationship! I couldnt help but felt like wounded when Palermo looks the Professor when they were flying in the end. Those eyes of his showed a strong love for Berlin and a deep pain of missing him! That moment I literally fell in love with him and with his love ❤️
