I tried looking for them but I don’t think the company exists anymore. I occasionally see them on eBay for $100. I just type in insulated waterproof trench coat. I’ve tried to find an alternative out there but haven’t found one yet.
I've decided to have a hooded fleece as a mid layer, you mentioned having just a shell with fleece, do you think that will be warm enough? or is a down jacket needed outside the fleece? amazing video by the way.
I was saying that there were 3 options: 1) baselayer + light fleece + synthetic mid layer + insulated trench coat, 2) baselayer + thicker fleece + mid layer + shell with no insulation, 3) baselayer + thick down jacket.
Just a fleece wouldn’t be warm enough for me unless is was just -5C and I was doing high output activity.

I m aiming 1 25l with clothes rest in weightless daypack. Nano puffa wasnt warm enough had to buy a thicker jacket
Yea depends where your travelling. Some places you''ll need a thicker piece.

it is waterproof. But has pretty much zero breathaility.
Did u say how many days/weeks ur gonna be on the trip?
