brotha you have to charge extra for any load higher than 1 ton that's where the profit comes in even if its a pound over you charge the rate for a full load extra then you'll make a little bit more profit another thing is if the deliver is far away you have to charge for that an extra $40-$60. How I did it before when I've done it a few time is $350 for 5 days (no one ever needs it for that long) then every ton after the first ton I charge $50 extra even if it isn't the full 2 tons. If the deliver radius is to far you charge for that and if they don't want to pay tell em to kick rocks.
People in my area are including 2 tons for the most part. Gotta be competitive. Otherwise no one will rent them...I don't count on dumpster rentals it's just some extra cash to help cash flow stuff it's a very competitive market in my area
I never thought the day the main two CZcamsrs i watched, would be in contact with each other. definitely cool as heck to see I’m about 1hr 1/2 south from andrei. And Florida is our neighbor
Good on you for being open and honest bro. You gotta emphasize to people that this lifestyle isn’t as easy and glamorous as it seems on social media. Keep up the good work as always bro 😎
Dumpster rental is fun because all you do is push a button and everything falls off! LOL. But honestly, it is a great side hustle income sometimes, just time consuming, but if you love what you do, time is priceless.
Amen brother! The first five years is a slow and difficult grind. Keep getting positive reviews, referrals and do what's right for the customer, you'll have a steady stream of customers wanting you, even if your pricing is higher.
Taking a 50 minute ride is your mistake! Set up a circumference from home base, don’t go out of it unless you’re charging extra for something that far away!
Yeah, I'm going to start charging extra. But the problem with that is that people are even cheaper than me. So it's hard to get customers at a higher cost 🤷♂️
I mocked up some numbers based on prices in my area and came up with the same idea that you have to have alot of cans to make some money. I'll stick to lawn maintenance for now. But i want a stump grinder and mini skid 😂.
There is definitely money to be made in lawn maintenance! I wanted to start a lawn maintenance before but never have. It's hard to find time for every business 😂 Mini skids and stump grinders are awesome! I want a mini x now lol
@@JackofHaulTrades it's not bad I guess. Cost of doing business has increased significantly over the last few years and really made it hard to turn a profit worth it. It's a lot of foot work. Have you considered a Chinese mini excavator?
@artrueda9100 cost of biz / living is killing all of us man :/ Nah, they aren't worth it to me. I need a heavy machine with some power that can work. They are pricey tho around 40-70k 😭
That's why we see so many trailers and roll offs for sale. I do this as a side hustle and am not dependent on the income to live and eat. I have 1 trailer and been doing it for 4 years.
Dave here from Charlotte nc chin junk removal I just do a price for $ 450 rent out I do the same drive today 50 minutes to drop off on back in the evening about 5.30 I pick up on I no this load on the trailer going to be over $ 100..
Sweet video. Would you consider doing this same type of video but for junk removal? I’m debating going into it as a side hustle alongside my lawn care business and just want to see what I could maybe expect
Hey brother! maybe someday ... it's harder to make a video on junk removal because the prices are all over the place. Junk Removal is much better than dumpster rentals for the small guys, in my opinion 🤷♂️

But I don't like dumpster rental as a main hustle personally its just one of a side add-on to a main business for pocket cash.

Thats crazy!up here in the northeast we charge around 575 for a 15yd and 725 for a 20 yrd
Nice man! That's just how my market is. Everyone is changing cheap out here. What is your disposal cost per ton?
Wish I could get that per rental, my market would not support that rate here.
@@danclapper626 Same with my market. People are racing to the bottom in my area 🤷♂️

Plus subtract about 28% from the gross for taxes.
You're not kidding. I have been buying a bunch of tools to help with that situation ...I hate taxes 😂

$450 is great! How much is your tonnage fee? If it's around $60-$100 per ton, your market is better than mine and I need to move to Charlotte 😂😂

Why go so far? Not even worth that. Stay local and that load is 120 an hour
