I feel like its time path should have a new passive.... he should be given the recovery that horizon got, like that would be awesome and make him so much more amazing
scanning survey beacons fots hots character tho.
They could make it when he scans a recon beacon it scans the whole map like that spot on kings canyon
@@Left_4_Dead1997 huh
@@andrewjohnson9995 I mean it just seems pointless considering how large the apex map id
@carlo er that’s what I’m sayingggggg
Pathy was my very first character in Apex legend and I instantly liked him. But since every recon legend can scan beacons, he doesn't really have a passive. 10 seconds less cooldown are cool, but you have tofind and scan a beacon for it. A passive ability should be something "independent" imo.
Pretty good if you're next to beacon and you have to go to another side without getting beamed
true but his Q is so good, kind of makes up for it?
real
Just remember Crypto has no Passive or Ultimate
As a Pathfinder main the tips provided are great especially the super jump
I just started using him a few weeks ago and have feel in love with this legend! I’m a slow learner but have grappled a few enemies towards me and punched them haha this video was perfect! Thanks
Don't main any legends but still have around 15-20k kills on path across platforms as my most used legend.
1 rule I try to stick with as path is not to grapple into fights, but use it to get out of fights and repositioning during fights.
IMO path should be played similar to wraith.. First to go into a fight and deal as much damage as possible before using the grapple to get back out again if needed.
Another tip is the double zipline speed boost. I sometimes set up an extra zip next to existing ones (Both horizontal and vertical). This way you get unlimited jumping on the 2 ziplines and you travelling a lot faster and are way harder to hit. This can be used to aggressively push teams on the other end of existing ziplines and I rarely see anyone else doing it.
First one i knew but the second tip will be rly helpful
Don’t main anyone but has 20k kills with path….😑
😂😂
@@parkerdeauer9335 well I also got 10k+ kills on Gibby and Lifeline so I still don't consider myself a one trick pony pathfinder main 😁
Got about 40k on console and 15k on PC so about 55k total.
@@mrmagun2011 that’s cool maybe get a life
This is by far my favorite legend and you can absolutely carry your squad if you are good with his grapple, you can pull of some crazy stuff🤩
As a path main I’d say u forgot one thing about grappling, which was backing up then grappling to get major distance
This sounds extremely ineffective as in high pressure situations, taking time to walk back and grapple seems reckless, especially when you can just perform a close pathfinder grapple jump which already increases momentum.
@𝗡𝗘𝗜𝗣𝗦 you walk back for less than 1 second and it builds rope tension to slingshot you alot further
Started using him today and he’s def my new main 🔥🔥🔥
Path is a fan favorite lol but Respawn just refuses to give me a damn passive.
Grappling enemies can be a huge help to downing someone. The perfect time I've been able to use it to my advantage is whenever I have the enemy I'm fighting down to 30 HP or less. Then I'll grapple them to bring them right to me and then melee them and 9/10 times you'll be able to knock them without taking more damage trying to dual it out with guns. You can also use it to your advantage by Grappling an enemy while they are trying to reload to prevent them from causing damage to you with there gun.
dude thanks so much your advice helped alot in me learning to play pathfinder
The thing I never see anyone talk about is use movement not to fight but to position quickly and effectively into headglitches, which for path there is ALLOT due to his height, any loot chest be that isn't opened is the perfect height for a pixel peak.
I love pathfinder.
I recognize that he's not the best, but he is just so fun to play.
Path and valk are my baes
i began playing him late season 9 and he is so much fun and i have gotten pretty good with him.
I've decided to attempt to master pathfinder, after getting him randomly in a pubs match, I had the best match I'd ever played! 9 kills 2.5k dmg, and I barely know the basics for him!
Tip: get any sniper or marksman, constantly be within 100 meters of teams and spam them, if they try to get even partially near you, spam grapple and zipline away. (Have fun getting a skilless 4k)
thank you sir for your tips
I never knew manually releasing will help keep your momentum🤣 couple years of trying to slingshot myself without realizing the grapple is slowing me down
Pathfinder is the legend i have the most luck with and he’s fun to play as so I’ll main him.
I used to main lifeline back in season 0&1, her faster healing was so helpful
Dude I miss that she was so good.
Hear me out, pathfinders passive should be being able to use consumables while on a zipline
while i love the idea i feel like that would be way to op ngl
@@BabaYaga-cm4ue but pathfinder got hie grapple nerfed so badly, i just think it would balance him out
I haven't played path in forever how'd they nerd him?
@@BabaYaga-cm4ue longer tactical cooldown
@@jinbo5867 aaaahhh still I don't think that's an equal trade off as much as I'd love that for him
I just started to play apex 2 day ago and I like to say that pathfinder is my favourite 🤩
Thank you so much you help me out so much bro thank
BTW there is also a technique where you can catapult yourself with the grapple just aim right above the ledge you want to grapple up to and it will always give you that extra momentum or in case you need thta element of surprise
That's called a super grapple, a super grapple is a grapple in which the grapple hook collides with a surface on the way back to Pathfinder rather than away, super grapples also have the tendency to send Pathfinder significantly farther than usual
I recently started maining him and he is such a fun legend to.use he has good movement and can get out of fights when you need to I was never a very good player but when I started maining pathfinder I almost got my first 2k and my highest kill game was 10 with him and these tips helped me with him thank you
There's this thing i do for pathfinder which everyone call a super grapple if you miss something on your grapple but it hits it backwards, pathfinder will do a super grapple, instead of showing his arm while grappling he will pull his arm
If you didn’t know when you grapple players you can usually get your gun out and since they re in the center of your screen you can spray and the bullets will land on them
my first win was actually with pathy but i stopped playing him for awhile but im considering picking him up again
The one legend i want to use so heavily but can never crack
Me with octane
I turned on notifications and subscribed and liked the vids
I hadn't played pathfinder that much until I played titanfall 2, it was so fun grappling and wall running that I decided to test it in apex as well and it works the exact same way (minus the wallrunning) Seriously, I suggest trying Titanfall if you wanna become a better pathfinder player
I'm having lots of fun with Pathfinder I just won a game a few minutes ago with him!
I love surprising enemies who have the high ground by launching myself in the air high above them and throwing a grenade, so satisfying when they get stuck with an arc star
I main mirage but really enjoy pathfinder...
Movement with pathfinder is amazing..
But i just enjoy bamboozaling the foozals..
same I consider them 2 my mains :P
@@ninehearted goodluck with that
Started Pathy when I first played in Season 2... Now I have 40.000 Kills on him and am the Nr1 Pathfinder Netherlands PC yeeeeet
By the time i played 20 games with pathy, i already got 3 games where i got 3k. Pathy op
thanks tryna main him
Our robot needs a huge buff on passive
And when I say that I mean that the only thing having a potential to get removed is the ring thing (ult CDR is fine)
I’m a bloodhound main, but I don’t have a clear cut backup and I really like pathfinder
make sure y’all aren’t grappling into fights unless you’re going to clean up, otherwise you’ll have no exit strategy if you get in trouble
thanks
I’m pretty good with him but I can’t figure out how to hit these big air grapples I only get those if I take certain angles that fling up into or onto a building
Keep up the good work on this channel, since I subbed at 16k I instantly thought about how well crafted and informative these videos are! You all are doing exactly the right things👍🏽
Best moments are when you crack a shield and grapple into enemies with a pk or mastiff
do you have controoler guide for path?
I was really struggling with this game because of the lack of mobility. I love how easy he makes it to get up close and personal with enemies, making it wayyy easier to stay aggressive.
my fav is Vertical Grappling
Another way to learn path is playing grapple pilot in Titanfall 2
Does the game still work
@@TR0VEX. yes
I think pathfinder is one of the best legends if u have good enough movement
Bonus tip, not sure they mentioned it: You can grapple Ziplines to get on them
He showed it which is pretty cool. Definitely a way to sneak up on or get away
I just think his grapple should do damage if you hit a player with it
Where's info about two stacked ziplines? Hyperjump?
You should work with (timprovison) I mean you'll make the best team ever
I’m currently in such a rut atm in apex I’m literally hard stuck play (on pc) any decent players willing to help me out give me some tips etc? I’ve played the game since the beginning but took a break and now I’m just awful…
His passive should be his punching and kicking to have x2 damage when doing so
Bonus tip was helpful
Was landing fragment some guy got to a bin before me so I grappled him and got the gun Finished him off B)
ha. nice
I really wanna use pathy but I’m just.. trashy with him! I wanna polish my grapple!!
10:19 ash and revenant be like OH REALLY
What 90 degree angle are you talking about
Bro, I’ve given up on my other mains
Not even because I do bad with those mains
It’s because my teammates always ditch me and I end up alone against an entire fucking squad, so I need a legend who can get me out of danger fast
Octane deals damage to himself when he stims and Wraith can get beamed so quickly when she tries phasing, Pathfinder is somewhat reliable though
1 more tip: if you grapple on the ground and jump right when it hit's you will go flying
Have you watched the video ?xd
@@Fjerid i mean he didnt talk about it
@@Fjerid also ur 7 months late lol
there's literally a chapter about that, so clearly you haven't lol.
Pathfinders should be able to take down their ziplines.
It would be cool with a sprider man pathfinder skin
Can someone tell me what he means by 90 degree angle
I like to use him like to us 3D Maneuver 😂
4:51 and combine that with punch boostimg
8:30 lmao
Gotta set my sensitivity to 10 on controller.
Me: oh its so cool let me try it also me: *dont stop going in wall
Can you do a octane one plz

@@AngelLegos cheers
it's so awkward for me to grapple then jump instead of jump then grapple, idk why
Lol. I don't main him, but when I play him, I love to try to grapple enemies and shoot them while they're grappled. Sometimes they shoot back, but I still feel like Scorpion whenever I down them.
I don't know but it feels like haul is a bit different
My team and I once camped somewhere with a survey beacon, luckily that survey beacon was in until the last ring so we just kept abusing paths -10 second cool down, me and my team literally made a spiderweb behind us which was the end of the map for an escape route that the enemy doesn't know which we would choose, and paths ult was like 40 seconds so it was a quick ult recharge lol
so Value what rank are you . i have never ever seeing you not even in a dog fight
watch itztimmy as pathfinder
I call it the 360 yoga yoga
Should have shown grappling to a flyer
I love Path so much and I think I have a new passive idea for him! Now I know we already have a bunch of recon legends but what if they made it so that whoever he shoots gets revealed for like a second and it stacks every time he hits that person! Or that could just make it so that whenever he ads’ everyone was highlighted like a digi threat, it doesn’t reveal them it just turns your scopes into digi threats AND you can turn it off if you want. Please tell me if my idea is good, ok now bye friend
I just followed this guide and got my first 30 box 4k and 10 10 10 and 333 badge with him
Such good guidance
Whenever I hit cancel I slow down ... how aha
Definitely not joining Hal’s program wtf lol
CAN YOU LOWER DOWN THE MUSIC I CAN’T BLOODY HEAR ANYTHING
Hi
Oh key
Bro why do it cost how much 300$
jampot grapel
Praise God
this guy sounds like mr beast
His passive in my opinion is the worst in the game. I really hope they give him a new one
A
I am a pro path player valued hmu 🤙 don’t mind my low quality content lol
How is this a grapple guide? You don't show any actual grappling instructions/directions, the only thing this video contains is your feelings/thoughts on how grapple should be used. There's not even many grapples shown in the gameplay footage.
Where does it say grapple guide??
1st
I'm disliking because every single youtuber plays the stupid ad about the guy doing a stupid course. It's very annoying because I'm literally not exaggerating. This ad is everywhere I can get away
Your video is too tiring.
Cant take this seriously. The first 10 grapples in the video are so mid tier.
