21….. respect….. thank you. Truly inspiring.
As a builder I must say I'm very impressed by your craftsmanship and just how much thought and effort you put into every detail. I wish I had a framing crew even remotely close to as good and efficient as you and your crew. Looking forward to the next video!
Thanks for watching! I appreciate the support
Thank you for the explanations. I'm a remodeler and woodworker. Experience in nearly all trades. One details is: spray foam the perimeter of fiberglass insulation batts. It glues the material to the studs and closes gaps. In time, fiberglass insulation always sags in the stud bay, leaving uninsulated space 6"-12" at the top. Spray foam cans guarantee the fiberglass or foam boards have no air gaps and remain centered. Good detail about insulating the corner joint!
Where you put insulation, we put 4 2x6s as a post. Then how you block for 8 foot sheet we get 10 foot sheets so we don't have to block.
Thk u for making these! Even helps a very mature ( old) finish carpenter! Building a Shed Jared for my materials and work gear! It will be massively overbuilt !
Love to hear it! Thanks for watching
Nice work guys!!!
Very explanation and clearly keep going more videos...
Very illustrate video to learn tips from a professional .....
I really enjoy watching your videos!
Are the sides of the garage door openings wide enough that you don't need portal wall framing?
The 3d framing on bump outs looks like a great time saver.
Yea! Engineering didn’t call for portal framing for some reason 🤔
Realy good videos, keep up good work!!
Better then PBB!
Should put some foam between your headers for a thermal break.
I leave the 1” on the interior incase the insulators want to add it, since I am only the framer I don’t install it unless they provide me with the material for it
@@Coffmanconstruction Got it! They should do it if you don't. Gonna recruit you for work here in Seattle.
Where did you get those pants from that you’re wearing Mr Coffman ? Thanks in advance
The navy ones at the beginning of the video
Why do yall run the sheeting vertical, also why dont you offset the joints?
Because all 4 edges of the sheet need blocking per code, so running it vertical reduces the amount of blocking required (and it’s still code compliant)
Double trimmers on 5-0 or bigger?
Why not turn the “U” at the end of the wall 90 degrees so you don’t end up with a dead space. Then you don’t have to mess around with insulation. That’s how we do it. Not saying that our way is better. Just wondering why you make your corners like that?
Looks like the location of the window was too close so they didn’t have room to make the U
how long did it take you to frame this so far?
This is about 2 weeks in
You put the insulation in backwards, the paper goes on the inside.
Ain’t going back now
Hopefully it doesn’t fall down now 🙃
@@Coffmanconstructionjust bare handing that stuff like the animal you are
Doesn’t matter, just means the vapor barrier is closer to the outside
Why no layout instruction.this just a video on lifting walls in place.
Where’s the link to your video on layout instruction?
definitely not a Larry haun presentation
What green air hose is that. Flexzilla?
Bingo!
