Sonos have the play3 right now it sounds amazing! I'm curious after I get my second play3 for the L & R hifi sound how far apart should they be? And is it true that once I paired them together I have to have them sitting vertically for maximum stereo sound?

One of the songs you used to demo is one I used in one of my videos I made from a gopro. Caught me off guard made me thing some how my video I made started playing. I've been wanting to get into the sonos the system but I'm waiting for a youtube integration as I listen to a lot of music from CZcams

Andre Vespucci Andretti I've been Bose guy since early 90s I've owned the lifestyle 20 w the tiny cubes w bass module etc and eventually had to sell them because I'm a minimalist now don't want a lot of wires/units clutters & the silver center console eventually started to fall apart on me sound glitches would go on/off so I sold them all n got Bose soundlink 1 & 2 MEH them little Bluetooth are ok. Eventually sold both of those too. Now just rocking 1 Sonos play3 and it SOUNDS AMAZING! 👍 for the price target had them on sale recently (cyber Monday) @$240! So I picked 1 up n I can't wait to get another one to pair them up for that true hifi separation sound give it a try U might like them! the sonos app works seamlessly w my iPhone6📱I love the EQ that u can adjust also! 👍
If the decision is between Bose and anything else, your best bet is usually the 'anything else'!

BOSE? Dont buy BOSE there are plenty of good speakers out there which is cheaper and superior in sound, if you want a speaker like this try the harman kardon go play you will love it especially if you buy 2 for pairing,, but i find this sonos 5 can compete with the HK go play, the problem is the sonos price is too much, i will stick with my HK for now.. i tell you 13 of my friends bought hk go play after hearing how it sound.. the Bass, mid and clarity of Go Play is unmatchable.. but again this sonos 5 is very close, but the go play sounds bigger. Neighbours was shocked when they found out that im using a little bluetoooth speaker they thought its large and amplified coz of the sound.
I have the opportunity to buy one of these used. Besides the app and speaker, do I need anything else to run that speaker?

Pandora yes, CZcams no. If you have or buy one of the chrome cast audio, you can plug it into the auxiliary port and use media like Netflix and CZcams.

yes, it will work with youtube, just connect them both to your router and you will be fine. You shouldn't notice any slowdown in terms of network speed if you can already stream video anyways.

so, enterprise and corporate networks sometimes block some of the things the app and devices use. Try getting a router for your room and have it plugged into the ethernet jack, hopefully you have one, if it's just wifi, i don't know how to make it work.

Just bought and I hate it! Taking it back tomorrow as soon as the store opens! Doesn't hook up to shit. No Bluetooth, plays apps if you pay for them so no CZcams. Does sound great though but you must have internet to use no internet no music.
