    Ahuja Bello was at a time one of the foremost Juju Music exponents. He had some stint with his former master as one of the bandsmen in Expensive Olubi's Band in which he played the guitar. He later formed his own band, and he was progressing in his musical ascendancy before he had a devastating accident, which became his undoing because he became partially deformed which proved a great albatross, as he could no longer perform like his previous self.

      Honours Richie : I have noticed that various talented JuJu artists have been involved in various types of accidents and I think there is more too these accidents than has been portrayed. I would say certain well inown competitors at the time who will remain nameless wanted them out of the way.

    • @Criticalthinking01
      @Criticalthinking01 Před 5 lety +2

      I disagree with you that a competitor was responsible. There were a lot of people accidents in Nigeria then and now. We know about musician accidents because they are public figures. If anything is to be blame, I'll suspect driving under the influence.

    My Executive Consultant and his friend just wrapped up recording of his music and memoir!
    Get ready to celebrate the return of this legend after years in limbo following an accident. The miracle story is beautiful and would be in public domain soon.
    He is 80 this year and there is no better time to celebratw him and show him he is loved so flood your pages and networks with his music and what you know of him, ahead of his memoir and music.

    A fantastic track and a big hit in its day. It remains a mystery as to why Alhaji AB never progressed musically to really give KSA and Emperor Pick Peter a run for their monies and be at similar level as KSA, the great one today. Perhaps it was because they focused too much on copying KSA at the time but couldn't evolve out of that. KSA took things to unbelievable level with compositions, instruments and drums repertoire of the very highest order to become the greatest musician to have ever lived bar NONE but AAB and others just disappeared until recently in interviews. I know AAB had accidents etc but he could have achieved so much more. But it's probably late now as he approach his 80s. He'll sadly go down as another nearly one. It's interesting to hear in this track, a Muslim man singing about "Jesu Baba Ewe"!

      Well never say never when Jesus is in the picture... Yes, 40 years is a long time to be locked in but with Jesus ib the boat, believers can smile at the storm as they sail home. His sad story recently took a beautiful turn when his wife met someone who linked him to someone who linked him to another someone! I am itching to break the full news but I would wait and give honour to those who did the hardwork.
      At 80, he is returning strong. Like old wine, it gets better wirh age!
      Start to celebrate him ahead of his music and memoir hitting the airwaves!

    I believe that king Sunny Ade have destroyed a lot of Yoruba indigen musicians with black magic powers. King Sunny Ade can also come to swell in the front of all Nigerians if he has no knowledge about the downfall of these lovely Odua's descendants sons. Also his songs have also distabillised, disunited and embedded lack of trust in the midst of Odus children. King Sunny Ade has done more damages and destruction to Odua land than good. I want king Sunny Ade to ask himself if the amount of cash received in most of his shows are clean and legitimate money. I think king Sunny Ade is more or less a thief and also encouraged unfair practices. Emperor pick Peter destroyed
    Ahuja Below destroyed
    Ebenezer Obey's brain is polluted. He is lucky to be alive.
    The two city rockers Segun Adewale and Shina Peters have been to hell and back.

True , musicians and people in all endeavor in life wants to be more successful than their peers. we all do and rivalries have existed since the world began. You need to delete these rubbish you typed here and apologize. I am a fan of many musicians and many brands of music, you cannot love our Yoruba artists more than i do.
