  • Seating Matters are changing the world through healthcare seating.
At Seating Matters we design and manufacture world leading, therapeutic seating for adults and children.
They were designed by Martina Tierney, an Occupational Therapist with 30 years experience in seating patients.
The Seating Matters Monaco is designed for users with reduced mobility as a comfortable, supportive chair that can assist with mobility of several users throughout the home or in a ward environment. The back recline and optional laterals assist with positioning and support. The Monaco Assist, formerly known as the Monaco Riser, is a variant of this chair which is enhanced by the addition of an adjustable seat angle together with a waterfall cushioned back.
When the user wants to stand from the chair, the seat base can be adjusted upwards to encourage the user to do a stand transfer. The elevating leg rest can support the legs and help with positioning and comfort.
