00:58 Don't Smash The Bar
0:46 Get Under Faster
08:51 Fix number #1
11:58 Fix number #2 - Zábava
Love learning from my fellow long-limbed European lifter
I love this technical breakdown videos
Niinoo! I hope he and Karlos push each other towards their best performance. Rivals like you want them.
I think Karlos has the medal 🏅
So good these analysis videos
Prescribing no contact drills for everyone. I feel like too much contact is also a hurdle to get under the bar quickly. If I smash that bar, I have trouble turning the direction of my body and finding balance. It always seems to result in extended back, either the shoulders are far behind or the hip is far forward. Even if the bar was on good path. Getting under fast feels so good though, the way you don't catch it in any sort of power position and it doesn't come crashing down because you pulled too hard.
Snatch balance and quick drops under the barbell in clean made a real difference for my judo as well. Honestly every grappler should have some of those mechanics drilled when they start. Just to help them reach deep squat comfortably, quickly and with control. That mobility and speed makes a world of difference in learning throws where you need to get your hips under. So many today have trouble squatting quickly, which makes them not reach the positions required and doesn't allow them the time to get in the position before the partner comes crashing onto them.
I'm all for aesthetic weightlifting, I want to see Pizzolatos and Sincraians.
That 222 is so weird. It’s like he stops pushing with his legs and readjusts
bar gliding the belly of 105 ilyin in 2015 is closest thing to perfection in weightlifting
2:54 acceleration phase
how about breakdown of golden russian female generation between 2008 and 2016, also apti vs lu jerk comparison
Pick a lifter with good use of the arms to pull under , I understand what you are saying but it is always better if you can show how the arm mechanics actually are efficient.
Do you think Nino straightens his legs too much as the bar passes his knee? Would it be preferable to keep the bar closer to his legs?
Waited for someone to mention this, he forms a massive gap between him and the bar after the knee then has to shift forward quite a bit to make contact. I guess he’s so strong and has a strong and dialed 3rd pull he can get away with it
Old school technique, meso cleans very similar, ilya too
@@mrthegreenapple I feel like if your turnover is weak this “technique” leaves the door open to smack the bar out and miss it forward due to not keeping it close between the floor and the launch point
@@clintiacuone1703 don't be weak :)
@@mrthegreenapple I don’t have the issue lol I keep the bar close to me in both snatch and the clean like the Chinese do
I'm an hour late and I'm 5th comment lol c'mon fellas 😅
