Please NOTE - This is a reaction I filmed AFTER checking out the "Regular" version of I Need U in a recent throwback BTS reaction which featured the HYYH Prologue as well as the RUN MV! 'I need you' was the turning point for BTS....This song makes me cry every time I listen to it....They were struggling so much back then...they started making songs in a garage....had their staffs as the people appears in the mv (in I need you as well)...now look at them...they came so far....I can't explain how proud I am....

I love the BU so much. It's by far my favorite BTS era, the storyline is pretty amazing. Have people already told you the order in which to watch and about the comics/notes?

Seeing all them in the depressive state is heartbreaking. But i really feel the saddest when i see the members who usually are the ones being goofy and smiling all the time hits my heart strings the most. Actually seeing Jin crying, Jhope not smile and just su*cidal, Jungkook angry and depressed and Jimin balling has me actually crying forreal.
And idk if people didn’t catch that Jhope walked to a bridge after taking all those pills. That indicates to me that if he hadn’t collapsed on the sidewalk, he would’ve actually jumped over the bridge to take his own life.

I don't know if you know but there will be (or already is, i don't remember premiere day) show based on this story line.
Bts have webtoons and Games that expand the storyline running through these videos. It's so much more vast and complicated than what the videos show. I would recommend XCeleste's video to understand more of it.

Hi, i am back. Good reaction, ty. Yes, love I Need U. It's a fav. THE MV IS PART OF THEIR HIDDEN BU STORYLINE IN SOME OF THEIR SONGS. So it's a lot. But they won their 1st award after this song. This story is deep complex and heartbreaking. This MV depicts suicide, overdose, and the hardships of life. It shows that when they are together they are happy and have no worries. But each one is hiding baggage and are suffering alone. This song resonated with fans and this story is why BTS are the best. It came out in 2015. Suga was the one on the bed and burned the room. V killed his dad who was hurting his sis. So we got physical abuse. JK did not fight back because he wanted the pain. He is in pain because he lost someone. Suga killed himself in the fire. Jimin is depressed and tried to kill himself by drowning in the tub. Hobi overdosed. RM is upset because he lost his friends and is alone. Jin is really important in the story and not spoiling... =0p So BTS never sings about girls. Not really. In this case girl means friend. Oh yes JK did get hit by a car. Love the song its a banger. But oh boy is the MV complex and deep. This song got them more notice in US and Korea. This was huge! They really let the cat out of the bag with this story. One of the first things fans learn about BTS is they don't mess around when it comes to their music videos. Each of the group's visuals is stunning, and they never fail to leave the viewer thinking about its possible meaning behind it. As new fans start to piece together BTS' music videos, they begin to realize that many of them actually connect. The overarching storyline is known as the Bangtan Universe(BU), and it exists not just in BTS' visuals, but in their webtoons and short stories as well. Since it can get pretty complicated, here's every BTS video that's in the Bangtan Universe.

To summarize, the BU involves a fictional storyline that has all the BTS members playing their own character. These characters have their own backstory, but they all connect in some way. If you see certain scenes or symbols repeating in BTS' music videos, that's because fans concluded the story involves some very shocking stuff that I ain't spoiling, you have to figure the story out yourself😂.
It can be difficult trying to differentiate which videos are part of the BU, but according to fans, those that belong to this world will have the words "BU content certified by Big Hit Entertainment" at the bottom of the video's description. However, just because some videos don't have it, doesn't mean they're not connected. According to fans, here's every BTS video that's in the BU. When RM wrote the lyrics he wrote "I need u friend", but if you sing it like that it doesn't sound good, so he changed it to "I need u girl", but the real meaning is that I need u friend, so it's a breakup song and at the same time it fits into the story they're doing. So there's a thing called BTS Universe. It's a story line. You need to watch all the MV's in order to understand it and "I NEED U" is the first part of the storyline. It's almost like a puzzle but lemme tell you it will blow your mind. The storyline itself is very deep and YES it includes Fake Love!
RM - works in a gas station, the clients treat him like shit (throwing money on the ground instead of giving it to him, etc) and imagery of him smoking.
Jin - in a room alone, the flower petals start burning, he is a very important character in the storyline. (All the MVs under the same storyline can be found by looking at the description of the videos, they are marked with "BU content certified by Big Hit Entertainment").
Suga - in a motel, missing someone (scene in the bed), buys gasoline and burns the room with himself inside (suicide).
J-Hope - is sick and needs meds (apparently suffers from narcolepsy, he actually has munchausen’s syndrome), but abuses the drugs and passes out in the sidewalk of a road from an overdose
Jimin - in the bathtub burning a photo, he seems in distress and scared, tries to drown himself
V - catches his dad (the dad is the alcoholic one) abusing his sister, in anger and adrenaline attacks his dad and accidentally kills him
Jungkook - gets into street fights, seems to not care about anything (depression), ends up being hit by a car at the end.

I highly recommend you to watch The BTS Universe storyline/lore by Xceleste (the updated version) and story of BTS universe is getting a k-drama called Youth and actors are playing BTS
let him find out on his own, all celeste did was reading the Notes, and watching VCR's, the MV's, reading the Webtoon and playing the game. It's more fun to make ur own conclusion, and consume the Content on your own. The Video is just an easy way to cheat your way around to think on your own,
Personally I think he should try to figure it out on his own (I'm stoked for it, he's so intelligent I am eager to hear his thoughts) and watch x Celeste after, where he'll know most of it but can get the notes and a nice summary 😊💜
