Hey Peter, loved your wedge instructions. One thing I notice with a lot of amateurs is when it comes to half wedge shots they take a full swing, but decelerate on the downswing, resulting in bad or coming up short. Your instruction demonstrates how taking a shorter swing controls the distance you need without decelerating. Great instruction. Love listening to you guys. Wish you were on LIV broadcast. Miss you guys commentary during golf events.

The answer to every question is Money. So, it's hard to argue with anything you said. The President the DP World Tour quit after last year to return to his home country of Canada to head up a sports franchise. He's a very bright guy and clearly saw the writing on the wall. I have no doubt DP World and LIV will merge. As for who will broadcast their games, I'm going with Netflix as they seem to have already enjoyed success with their TV series on golfers and it has done well We;ve seen what the F1 series on Netflix has done for worldwide viewership of the races.so the same can happen with golf. All we really need is some golfer to start dating Taylor Swift. Love you commentary and lessons. Thank you both.

LIV turned down Finau. They turned down about a dozen top players from PGA. The reason is they have 54 players and they have a relegation system. They went after AK two years ago. They'll only go after more pga players if someone starts to have star power. There will be no deal with pga. PGA thinks LIV has failed and will go away. That's why SSG came in. They think LIV will disappear and that's when SSG will reap the benefits. This could backfire greatly for pga and ssg.

2 Tours should stay separate and it's up to them to make their tours attractive enough for players to want to stay on their tour or join their tour.
PIF should start European Tour (scrap DP Tour as is) and make it as good as European Tour was in the 80's and 90's to rival PGA Tour.

I’m not a Rory fan but now I’ll be cheering for him to win the Masters so he also jumps ship. That will be a game changer. And then Liv won’t need PGA anymore making Speiths comments true. This 10 event "head-to-head" series is going to have to be a new tour itself ("Galaxy Tour"). It can't be just 10 separate events because some of them will thrive and some will fail. And how will it be funded? PIF would be funding LIV/DP, SSG funding PGA Tour, so where's the cash coming from to fund the Galaxy Tour, especially since the purse for those 10 events would have to be higher than a LIV/DP event or a PGA Tour event? And the reality would be that the PGA Tour would be relegated to "feeder tour" status in being a pathway to get on the Galaxy Tour. Also with the Galaxy Tour + Majors taking up 14 weeks out of the year, the PGA Tour will shrink and be less of a money-maker.
The answer: Make the Ryder Cup an annual event. It becomes the equivalent of the Super Bowl in American football as it was with AFL vs. NFL, or the World Series in American baseball as it was when the NL and AL were separate. LIV/DP vs. PGA Tour with the winner having bragging rights. Then the Ryder Cup + Majors creates 5 events each year where all the top players get together and play.
The downside? 1) Poaching of players will still go on; 2) If the PGA Tour is USA-based only and LIV/DP is the rest of the world I see the PGA Tour continuing to shrink in stature and popularity until it gets absorbed into a new single world tour.

For profit enterprise may remain tax exempt since Congress enjoys cronyism and potential campaign donations to ease the exemption. Gentleman, you’re overcomplicating this. The solution is already in place and is proving to work. LIV players are 1. Part of a team (this pertains to just LIV events). LIV tournaments operate just like collegiate golf. Teams and independent rankings - extremely straight forward and 2. Independent players playing on the international tour. The points they accrue independently on the international tour strictly only pertain to the international tour. There is no reason why they can’t do the same thing with PGA. I know what you’ll say “international series is a feeder series for LIV ” - this is irrelevant. Points are points. The answer lies in open borders being established between both tours. This would allow players to form teams including alternates (that only matter during LIV events) and can still play independently, earning points for the fed ex cup or whatever else. No minimums required. Meaning, if your team only plays one LIV event, it simply will not win the team championship. It would be up to their discretion to play as little or much as they want just like individual play. Yes, there would be multiple standings for fans to follow (LIV team standings, LIV individual standings, fed ex cup points, etc), HOWEVER, these would form consistent metrics to be able to reestablish some sort of world golf rankings. Personally, I hope the PIF purchase the golf channel so they can put the product on display and let it speak for itself. I am not promoting everything that LIV is about (DJ playing on the first tee for example), however, I absolutely loved playing collegiate golf and being part of the team element and it 100% makes sense to me that it exists in pro golf on a permanent basis (not just Ryder cup and presidents cup). As for minimum guarantees, qualifying and the likes - there is no reason why they can’t still use something similar to the korn ferry tour, international series, etc. Once qualified, a player would be drafted in to an existing team as an alternate and payed a rookie minimum plus winnings. After their rookie year, they would form a new team with other new players - either by choice or at random by the league. Once they are in the system, they can be traded around team to team like anything else. If they simply do not want to play team golf, they will not have to. In that case, a player would get through Korn ferry tour or whatever else and that would qualify them for all tours which means they could strictly just enter the PGA tour system, if they choose. Otherwise, they would also enter the “draft portal”. Eventually, this will create team structures similar to a number of different sports. Most valid example, again, is current collegiate golf. K&M, if you want to chat more, I have ideas for days with the experience to match. Stay sane, boys!

If you sat down and tried to screw up men’s professional golf they couldn’t have a better job! LIV, PGA Tour, DP Tour are trying to untangle what they have collectively created. While SSG are smart guys they are not going to take on PIF because they can out spend them (and destroy them financially) and not even notice.
In all of this you need sponsors to commercially bankroll whatever this looks like, and today sponsors are increasingly disenchanted with what’s on offer. If you cannot develop that it’s a pipe dream. The other problem is golf is a niche sport, and while everyone talks about growing the game none of them have explained how they are going to do that. Just maybe that’s the problem with golf, and without tens of millions of eyeballs it’s just doesn’t make commercial sense with the numbers being thrown about. The Masters attracted 10 million viewers last year which three times the number every other tournament including the Ryder Cup attracts. Monday night NFL 33 million, Formula one 75 million. At what point is there a reality check!

Everyone in the Golf World owes Phil Mickelson an apology for the way they treated him. Everything he said about the PGA Tour and Jay Monaghan was true.

I've tried watching LIV and to be honest, it's boring. It feels like a corporate outing. There is no drama. And the tv ratings show it.

Last LIV event was one of the best and most entertaining tournaments I've seen in a very long time. I can't watch PGA anymore. 100+ ranked players are winning now. There's almost no one left in pga.

@alienrenders That's not true to say there is almost no one left on the PGA Tour. And their TV ratings still crush LIV's.

@@wks4511 Adelaide crushes anything pga puts out in terms of ratings. And there is no one left in pga. You have 100+ players winning.

@@wks4511only if you just look at American ratings. New World wide channels have LIV ratings going up and I have watched since day one. Great product and production chops getting better 👍
