Stranglehold. 🔥💪
"Stranglehold" is a guitar masterpiece. Meat Loaf sang "Writing On The Wall" and my personal fav "Hammerdown" off the 'Free For All" album. Definitely worth checking out!
One word: Stranglehold. He rips thru that one like a demon.
SalvoG will LOVE "stranglehold."
My first concert I went to when I was 16 was in 1979 and it was Ted Nugent, Scorpions and Def Leppard in KC. I was deaf for 3 days afterwards but it was a total jam!
I saw him in KC with Kiss the first year without makeup! Good times!
I had a boyfriend in high school that bought this album for me for Christmas one year!! I still have it 🔥🎸🎤🎼 “Stranglehold” has to be next 🔥 Great vocals courtesy of Derek St. Holmes!!
So many songs from Uncle Ted to listen to but Stranglehold, Great White Buffalo, and Hibernation are my favorites. Watch a video of him live, wild man. Also was in Damn Yankees with Tommy Shaw.
"Stranglehold" is a must as is (early Nuge) The Amboy Dukes - "Journey to the Center of the Mind"
Soooooo good! Wango Tango, Free for all, and Stranglehold
Uncle Ted is a world class asshole and he would probably be the first person to tell you that. But he wrote some incredible music especially in the late 70s. Lots of great songs from this guy.
Wang Dang Sweet Poontang, live audio is a must!!
I saw him do this live. He was attached to a lift on the ceiling, so he flew out over the crowd whilst doing his guitar solo lol. It was pretty cool. I quit listening to him a long time ago, tho.
I took in a sick old stray and the vet said he had cat scratch fever. With a straight face I said “ I bet he got it from the kitty nextdoor “ I guess only an old head would get the joke. I agree stranglehold must be next ❤
🤣🤣🤣
Now you need to check out damn yankees! He is in it as well as Tommy shaw and Jack blades. Only put out 2 albums but they were awesome.
Stranglehold studio or live is fire.
Cat Scratch Fever is a real thing, my cousin got it when he was young and nearly died from it, I wasn't too happy when this song came out! However I bought the album to see what all the hype was about and was glad that I did!
Saw him early 80s probably. The guy is certifiable. Awesome guitar work. Saw him dive backwards off a PA wall playing his guitar. Crowd caught him and tossed him back on stage. Wanna hear some guitar ? Do Strangle hold.
Love that song❤ haven't heard it in yrs thanks for that n I'm glad u reached n enjoy it too😘🥰
Check out the Free for All album. Meat Loaf sang lead on several songs and did a great job.
"Queen of the Forest" is a sleepy good tune too, definitely would love to see a reaction to that!
One of the best guitar players ever
yea yea salvo g.....back in the day uncle ted was da shit!!
Then it was just in his pants.
@@Donna185 agree 100%
STRANGLEHOLD is Ted's classic Jam!
Ted Nugent - free for all
Need to check out live version on the MIDNIGHT SPECIAL , great performance
Ted knows how to rock.
I love me some uncle Ted
Check out journey to the center of the mind, his band the Amboy Dukes
Totally not a Ted Nugent fan. Because of his insane MAGA mania. But, back in the day, this was a song like no other.
Fun fact. We rescued a bunch of cats. My daughter got sick and was diagnosed with cat scratch fever. It’s a real thing.
Go back to your cnn please.
Stranglehold of course but don't forget some other hits like Great White Buffalo and Wang Dang Sweet Poontang! What a monster on guitar
Suggestion for future consideration-Eddie Vedder Ukulele Songs
Cat-scratch fever is an infectious disease that most often results from a scratch or bite of a cat. Symptoms typically include a non-painful bump or blister at the site of injury and painful and swollen lymph nodes. People may feel tired, have a headache, or a fever.[2] Symptoms typically begin within 3-14 days following infection.
Pretty sure that's not what he's talking about 🤣🤣
Go gonzo ❤❤
Never heard this all the way though. Interesting!
Backseat of my Car and juniors‘s farm by Paul McCartney PLEASE ❤
Strangerhold
Great! Some classic rock! Like allot of his hard rockin’ music… Love (not) the going back and relabeling hard rock from the 70’s as heavy metal on these music sites. Those that think that this is heavy metal…..please tell me what you think qualifies as Hard/Heavy rock then? Just curious…..
STRANGLEHOLD 😎🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Stranglehold!!!!!
You hace to do "Stranglehold"
I thought Ted sung all the song.
Wango tango or free for all
Sorry. Wish I could separate the art from the artist, but Ted Nugent is a 𝘩𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘦 human being. 😔
Edited to add: I truly expected to be roasted alive for this comment. I'm relieved I'm not alone in feeling this. We've all got our "insufficencies," but I like this channel so much I couldn't stay silent. ♡
I agree
Yep. I agree.
His 'art' isn't even good enough to compensate, though this particular song is obviously iconic.
Indeed he is! Thank you!
Based on his politics, or his sexual proclivities?
Stranglehold
🤮🤮🤮
Too bad that he is such a horrible human being.
sorry...cannot watch a reaction video for a conspiracy touting, anti vaccine troll.....
grew up in the 60s/70s and Todd Nerdgent was one of those artists that all of us turned off when we heard the first few chords of anything he put out. Trite and boring.
Grew up in the same era - don't include us in your "all of us". The Nuge rocked.
@@O_Towne_Bear Thank you - just because he doesn't suffer fools he's broken a lot of fragile pussies.
Meh. Limited talent. @@O_Towne_Bear
The Motor City Madman may appear to be a tad mad on the album cover .. but Ted never used drugs, drank or smoked cigarettes.

I shocked it took you this long to discover Reverend Theodosis. Some call him Uncle Ted. Stranglehold should have been your first taste. Off his self titled solo album. For a guy that doesnt drink, smoke, do drugs, or eat anything that he hasnt grown or killed himself, the man is a ball of natural energy. Even at his advanced age. He still tours, hunts, he is a deputy, does podcasts, and even keeps his wife busy 😉. At 75 years young, he outpaces people half his age. Today his politics put off a lot of people, but who cares when he can rock with the best of them. I discovered him in 1973 when the Ted Nugent album came out and I do remember Journey To The Center Of Your Mind by the Amboy Dukes, that was 1968. On the Free For All album, he had a young Meat Loaf singing for a couple tracks. For me though, the song to this day that kicks my butt on my bass is Hey Baby. First album first side. I still cant play the lick and sing it at the same time. 50 years damn.
Stranglehold. Studio.
