- Fans of the alternate history drama For All Mankind are wondering if the show's producers will be able to carry on with their tale as another gripping season draws to an end on Apple TV+.
Beginning with the streaming service's debut, the series has outlasted many other shows created by the digital behemoth as the industry tries to rein down wasteful expenditure.

Just finished S04 very much hoping it will run for the planned 7 season arc!!!
Same!
That last scene, pulling back the camera from Dev overlooking the CO2 ice filled crater, sublimating into CO2 gas, up to the mining settlement on the asteroid left me in tears. Just astounding. I would pay to watch another season.
Some things are beyond money, and humans on earth need this optimism. Are imitates life, life imitates Art. We need the Art worthy to imitate. This is it.
I don't know what Season 5 will be like; but I'm sure that the Time Jump from Season 5 to the present day (Season 6) will have a spaceship landing on Jupiter's Moon Europa!!!
i was thinking the same
its logical to assume that season 5 will be mining the moons of Jupiter and Saturn fir their water.
maybe even psyche 16 another asteroid that has gold, silver, platinum, copper, to name a few trillions apon trillions worth.
I didn't really think about this a lot until halfway into season 4, but the end makes me feel like this could be a prequel to The Expanse. I literally was thinking about the end when it was transitioning into the future and how if you just spliced in the opening of The Expanse, it would fit perfectly! Brilliant show. Sadly, now it's just playing the waiting game along with season 3 of Foundation.
Earth is completely ravaged by climate change in The Expanse (Florida’s underwater, for example). But in FAM that’s pretty much averted with the mining of Helium-3 and use of nuclear energy largely replacing fossil fuels.
@ordinaryguy6654 yet the expanse is set in the 23rd century. Obviously, it would be a huge time transition as opposed to the small ones, but a lot can change in that amount of time! We've all started Wars for land here, seeing that they're about to introduce India. Maybe they try to invade the entire planet and take over. I don't know. I'm just a fan of both shows. Lol
@@RDTaken That is true! With the way this show's headed maybe we'll get the world of The Expanse sooner than when the actual show takes place, haha
@ordinaryguy6654 Hey, if you really want to get the theory train going, the way The Expanse ended, it could be the prequel to Foundation! 🤯
@@RDTaken agreed! In the foundation, people don't even know about earth.
I really hope s5 happens, since they started talking about stealing the asteroid I just thought s5 will shows us the independency of Mars from earth's nations or at least debates about doing that transition. The teaser didn't fully confirmed that but the thing about northcorean refugees could probably bring some very interesting twists too.
Yeah it's probs gonna be about a Mars Revolution. During the final scene of season 4 with the asteroid, it looked like someone spray painted "Free Mars" on a module or something
I hope in S5 they start bring AI or at least robotic tech to the show
PLEASE PLEASE SEASON 5 SEASON 5
I’d pay for another season. How much?
Wasn't there a easter egg saying that Ed Baldwin will return in season 5 at the very very end of season 4?
I loved this show when it began, but I think it is not as good as it used to be. I’m not sure what the problem is exactly though, but it doesn’t seem to feel like such a different timeline now. I know it’s a LOT farther along than we are in space exploration, but this whole world felt different before and now it’s just…not feeling like that anymore I guess. Anyone else have this feeling?
I thought season four was its strongest?
@@zodiacstarlegues and you are valid if you think that. I am not trying to say that it was bad, just that it didn’t hit me as much as the other seasons did. I am myself really trying to understand why?
@@thechicagobox I think that it gets better and better. I'm really enjoying that it's caught up to modern times now and anything could happen after season 4. The early seasons had their own charm but there's only so much they could do with the limited tech for the time and that it'll keep getting better and better up until it ends. The fact that they had already planned 7 seasons means they've already got the storyline down, all that's left to do is film it
Because the setting in Season 4 looks very similar to what we could have in 30-40 years from now. In Season 1 and 2, there was a lot of retro styling, vintage music, and other callbacks to the Space Race era. In Season 3 and 4, we start getting more modern music, the styling and aesthetic becomes more minimalistic and smooth, with lots of gray shiny surfaces. The astronaut uniforms look like they do right now.
@@MoraleIsHigh I love all of it tbh lol. You nailed it.
when ed baldwin dies in season 5 he needs atleast SOMETHING named after him
Would be a nice sedgeway to The Expanse.
this is how star trek universe started season 5 should be 20 years later
They already announced season 5 is in 2012
2012 was a decade ago that it feels like history content for an alternative history show. Interesting if one of the OST is Gangnam Style.
There's still 4 original characters
Only ? 😢
No more please
Speak for yourself
Why?
You simply don't have to watch it then it's no more for you.
