I have E6410 with i7 720QM quad core and 90 watt power supply. Everything works perfect with zero problems. My i7 is turbo boosting to 2.9 ghz on 1 core and works at 933 mhz on idle :) I have video with it. Cheers!

I couldn't figure out why some people disliked the video, there was nothing offensive remotely to anyone's sensibility.

@@Wii602006 I had a HP Pavilion and also a Dell Inspiron 7567 and both would occasionally have issues with fast boot enabled where it doesn't shutdown and just freezes while shutting down. I did SFC scan and stuff but they didn't find anything wrong, but after disabling fast boot, this never happened again.

Since nobody replied in 9 months & incase you still want answers, HDD is old tech regular Hard Drive which is slower & SSD is smart & advance Hard Drive which is faster in speed and data processing. And that's why Windows 10 started late in right side laptop coz of its HDD drive. Hope you got the point.

Had to get a new laptop after I killed my very old one with a few drops of coffee. I got lucky and scavenged the HDD from it. New machine is an HP with Win 11 pre-installed. Had I known what a piece of $hit Win 11 was, I'd never have bought it. The program I use daily is a legacy version of Visio, written long before Microsoft bought Visio and completely effed it up. Anyway, the old Visio cannot be installed on the new computer, I think because MS wants to force you to buy their Visio.
Been trying everything I can think of to no avail. I ended up buying an Amazon "renewed' Dell E6410 with Win 7 Pro for $120. My antique Visio installed in seconds from a USB stick and runs just fine on it. Nice, because I have thousands of hours of drawings and Stencils in Visio and I haven't found any other free app that can do what good ol' Visio does.
Also, the Dell is a piece of cake to upgrade in every way. It'll only address 8gigs of RAM, but I'm not a gamer. Full- blown legacy Visio will run just fine on the most minimal of machines.
I installed in 10 home on the Dell, just because I got used to using W10. It was super easy to put my old HDD INSIDE the Dell as a second HDD. Beautiful thing.
PS- The brand-new Win 11 doorstop is now just used for internet. The Dell will NEVER be connected on-line. Eff Bill Gates and the greedy ba$tards at MS.
