His father was a naval officer, so likely they - Peter and Christopher - had scholarships and bursaries to help with attending private school. He recalls his mother and father arguing over his schooling one evening .. his father saying they didn’t have the money. They stretched an awful lot to get him to private school. Like a lot of parents do, both here and in the U.K.

Like the Spencer’s.. some of them make the royal gene pool look wholly varied, and most are more ‘posh’ than the royal family themselves. Whatever it means to be that.
