You shold check the manifold closely when you have it out anyways. The 940 manifolds use to get cracks.

There was oil in the 13c because of the crankcase ventilation system, it wasn't oil leaking from the engine.

I dont know about the volvos, but on older Saabs with Bosch LH injection the hardest part with adding bigger turbos and more boost was getting the fuelling sorted. A 3bar regulator is generally needed for about 1.1 bar boost which is as high as i went with LH.
Perhaps you should consider putting together some of these clips in a “how to” video. I remember when doing this swap on my 940 turbo all the forum searching and everything was a bit annoying. A nicely shot how to vid would be great for beginners in the Volvo world. Great vid, looking forward to seeing more

You should also remove the circulation valve and check for cracks in the rubber. This happens very often with this turbocharger.
I am curious about your solution to mount the turbo on the exhaust manifold.

Will you not need the intercooler of the other car with the turbo being substantially bigger
We've looked into this and apparently we can use the original intercooler, however this is something we are looking to upgrade anyway! -Beth

I just bought a 944 whit b230fk, the engine broke down when the previous did a burnout, we think its the crank bearings, im going to build a drift car out of it and try to restore the engine and trying to land on around 400+ horsepower🙂
