Mcauley High School had a clean sweep of the Girls Only Schools section this year and came in as Overall Winners.

Im a Kelstonian and man we'll never be this good. Creativity is on another level when it comes to Mcauley. This is why they always come first. Every second year the performance is just as good as the last. Love it ❤️

if you watch aggs and kelston before mcauley then you can clearly see by a mile these girls from mcauley are in a completely separate platform. it's like a whole new show of their own. incredible.
I saw that Mcauley had 1.2K likes, so I had to see how many AGGS had. It is a complete difference from 1.2K likes from *only* 234 likes. Hmm.
Even from a closeup angle they still look flawless as ever. So blimmen proud of these girls. For sure they made history, and showed all those other schools what their capable of 💓
They are so DANGEROUS especially the Fuakaimi(Leader of the U)💯 😂 she's my favorite she made it liiit 🔥🔥 owww 😩 why can't we have a poly fest here in Sydney it would be good not just for the Polynesian community but for our youths here who are away from the islands, and also for the Aussies to get a taste of our Polynesian culture!.. but that was flawless well done gurls!!..💙❤ Samoa mo Samoa

wow! im amazed how flawless this group was...congratulations! I wish someone had footage of the group's back in 1998 when I was in mcauley. I remember the girls from marist college did an army type performance and their fuataimi was on fire!
They were the bomb in the year 2000 Polyfest too😍 !

My absolute favorite taupou of all time has to be mcauley 1999 her name was toiata su. Mcauley didn't do too well in the categories that year but toiata came 1st. She was so exuberant and graceful on another level

Well done McAuley, great performance! Well deserved win! BUT I don’t know why y’all saying you guys made history?? Lol having two uniforms is not a new thing! This was done back in the 90s by schools, only those who took part in Polyfest in the 90s would know. Clean sweep? Great! But you guys ain’t the first. So many schools before y’all have clean swept before, y’all just add to the list. Making history? Yeah na, nothing historic cause it’s already happened before. Btw we get it McAuley won! Some supporters need to quit raining on other girl schools and condemning them like McAuley have come straight from the Siva Samoa gods themselves it’s more so the ex students. For once let’s just celebrate the fact we have freedom to exercise our culture and showcase our siva samoa.
When McAuley say that they have made history - it actually means for themselves. McAuley’s first clean sweep. First time dancing in two different colours. It’s not necessarily historic for Polyfest coz you’re right - it’s been done before. But with McAuley, they’ve always competed against themselves & the performances from previous years. If you watch their performances from the 90’s - now, there’s always a little bit of an improvement because as much as they want to be better than other schools - they’re actually trying to be better than the standard they’ve set the years prior. No hate with the comment you’ve posted - just thought I’d clear up that “history” part. But I do agree that the 90’s will always be an important part of Polyfest. Well, it’s still my fave anyway :)

Meh, these polyfest stuff gets repetitive and old after a while. It's just following a formulaic song and dance that's done during flag day celebrations. Try changing it up a bit and use some guitar and piano to make things interesting.
Well duh that’s the criteria that they are competing in. You have 20 mins to showcase what the judges are looking for.
