Very clever idea, nothing will go to waste, thanks for sharing, new friend
Such a beautiful bag ! TYSM for sharing how you made it with us.
Genius.............Love it
Thank you so much Thuy, I really really enjoyed watching you create this amazing and awesome little bag. I really really love ❤️ how it turned out, and I really really love ❤ how you stitched 🧵 both lining and main fabrics together, which saved on a lot of extras sewing 🧵 too. And the quilting was really really awesome too. A variegated thread 🧵 would also have looked great too. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
This is so lovely and your instructions are very good. Thankyou so much Thuy. 🙋🏼♀️🇦🇺
Your scraps are so pretty! I’d love to see what was made with the fabric! Xx 🥰

Loveee it 😀 I am a newbie to sewing, just wanted to ask what is lining? How did the pieces stick to it?
It's interfacing❤
Its called interfacing and it has glue on one side the glue can be stuff that disolve when washing or it’ll lose their effect over time so that is WHY we sew a grid pattern over it so that the pieces dont fall of or fray .interfacing/linning is woven fabric used for thicken or stabilize the bag or what you are making like making it stand up on its own or keep its shape better or in potholders keep it and you from the heat.
Sometimes depending on what you need thick or thin fabric can be used as interfacing but not in this case since you need the glue part.
Thank you both of you. 💖💖
I will definitely try this 😊
I see that 2 people answered that lining is the same as interfacing, but that's not true.
Interfacing is a fabric that has a glue on one side and is used to thicken or stabilize a garment, a bag or anything you make. You put interfacing on your chosen fabric and iron over it. The glue then melts (on the wrong side on your fabric ofc) and your fabric becomes thicker.
Lining is something different. Lining is any fabric you use to put on the inside of your garment, bag or anything else you make to give it more polished look...when you have lining you can't see the rough seames on the inside.
I hope this helps.
@@me9981 Thank you 😊
It definitely helps.💖
