    Excellent work on a unique and colorful baseball card set! The last first baseman card was the one I really loved and the advertising is amazing! Thank you for sharing this set.

    Man it was so cool to see these all in one place, what a collection Dan! The first ad back you showed with the sports equipment and toys was just incredible. Huge congrats on finishing this set, and thanks for sharing it with us and memorializing it for all time here on CZcams! 👊😃

    All kinds of cool! Really fun art. I might have to start keeping my eye out for some of these.

    Very cool cards that depict baseball in the late 1800's. It's crazy how the catcher didn't use gloves. 😂 You have the world's first baseball parallel shortstop card!

      Well I “had” the world’s first baseball parallel…I have since sold and shipped the red (trimmed) copy of the card.

    Awesome trade cards once again, Dan! Saw your comment on Graig's channel also, I'm digging your gameplan there. Should be sweet to see the pickups and progress. Looking forward to it buddy!

      Thanks Ben!! I have to be more strict with my purchases. So I’ll be slowing down my pickups for sure

      @@OlSargeCollects You bet! I've surprisingly spent a bunch lately although some of it was COMC funds and "cash back" bonus money. There was one dream card I couldn't pass up though. 4 separate grading orders in also right now. Going to be some fun maildays this month, my friend!

    Congrats on completion! Such a wonderful set! Is that variation documented, and does PSA or SGC recognize it? Which do you consider the standard color? I feel like I’ve seen the purplish color example more often than the red. Let me know your thoughts!

    • @OlSargeCollects
      @OlSargeCollects  Před měsícem

      Tom it is not documented, nor recognized by either grading company. It would be cool if it was. I think the purple is the typical variation found

    Hi Dan, you know I enjoyed this video. Lovely cards. I believe I have 4 of the 9, defiantly want to finish the set. OK, here is a stupid question. I have never sent out a card to be slabbed. Because they look so nice in a tuxedo, I’m thinking of sending mine out. What did SCG charge you to slab these?

    • @OlSargeCollects
      @OlSargeCollects  Před měsícem

      Hey Peter!! SGC charges $15 for slabbing up a card. It’s a really easy process and I’m fond of grading and protecting our cards.
