EXTRA INFORMATION:
1) A "shortshot" and "longshot" can be differentiated between their priming sounds. A longshot has a loud shotgun pump, while a shortshot has a quieter noise. Shortshots also have a cooldown, so they can't happen twice in a row. Doubleshots CAN happen, because a shortshot and a longshot are two separate moves. But never 2 longshots or shortshots in a row.
2) Stims are really helpful.
- I4S gives defense (arbiter shots aren't affected by defense, only hammer attacks) and regeneration, which usually allows you to make at least 1 mistake.
- S44 allows you to land 3 light attacks per stun instead of 2. This nearly DOUBLES your damage output.
- Neloprephine removes morale (if you're in publics for some reason), as well as making stamina regeneration almost instant. This can help "shove spam" if needed, but not recommended to do so.
- Hemostatic increases defense slightly and makes you ignore debuffs. This is really useful, because a fracture removes your ability to shove - which is necessary to cancel her arbiter shots.
- 3-(cbSTM) makes your shoves super fast and increases melee damage significantly. Combined with an S44, you'll have insane damage per parry. It also cures fracture upon use, if you have it.
3) Using heavy attacks isn't recommended, because her recovery time is too fast for them. Only use them with weapons that have high strike damage (hold T to see it) and only with an S44. Don't use Executioner sword or Scythe, though, they have fixed swing speeds that can not be changed.
Firerier axe is good because it has a fast light swing speed and the HIGHEST light attack damage in the game. It's also super cheap - only 50 salvage. Lameo blade and normal Fire axe can be used instead, should you find them.
Billhook or Maria can be used with an S44 for their high M2 damage, billhook almost removing the need to shove entirely, which helps if you have fracture or slow shoves, and maria just having a very high M2 speed and damage.
4) I recommend Executioner, Berserker or Immolator when fighting her. Often enough, all you really need to kill her is a Firerier axe. No stims required, but they do help.
5) Recommended traits (if you're not doing Showdowner):
- Aggressive behavior for faster shoves. This removes the need to run away when she movestacks, since you'll be able to parry right afterwards. Also increases fists damage, if you're using them.
- Violent tendencies for faster attacks. This helps hit in-between attacks, as well as give you extra time to parry after a light combo.
- Honorable for fists parrying, if you're using them. This is the only trait you're allowed to use for Showdowner2 (fists kill). - Hry
UPDATE:
As of recently, AI pathfinding was updated. This means that tower lure (last clip in the video) is now no longer reliable, because raiders can reach you while fighting.
On the good side, flings were also fixed, so it's a double edged sword.

i should probably just equip violent tendecies honorable and vagabond then just attempt to do a decent job but i have only ever tried to fight her like 7 times
It's best to get arbiter or other tanky perks for practices. Instead of violent, get tormented so you live longer

Instead of immediately shoving when you expect a longshot, first parry, if she does a longshot, you’ll still be able to shove her since you are prepared for it and if she grapples, you can still parry (If she does 5 attacks first or arbiter perk is off cd, you can shove immediately).
I wouldn’t recommend trying to land hits in between her grapples and heavy as this can get you hit.
Oh yeah also, when you shove a longshot or shortshell, turn around and run for a bit, it will give you the time to recover and not get hit.
Anyways, I’m just a random who still hasn’t gotten showdowner because no attempts were made even though I think I have the skill for it.
If you're good enough at predicting longshots, you don't need to parry when shoving.
Hitting in-between attacks requires practice but can significantly increase damage output.
You only need to run when your shove is too slow. This isn't the case when you use aggressive behavior or 3-cbSTM.
@@mistermax2289 I still prefer parrying first, it isn’t an inconvenience, prevents you from getting hit by a light that you forgot to count and also allows you to prevent death by shoving a grapple
@@vietcong2997 i agree with this even in the vid here pre shoving can lead to mistakes and parrying first is actually the safest option and is something i always do while fighting her
The only downside is that you wont ever get a 3 hit light combo off without pre shoving

@@vietcong2997parrying first does require either good ping or an extremely quick shove. if you parry and she starts doing her longshot, you only have a window of a few milliseconds to shove. 150ms or more, and the shove's not gonna connect even if you do it as early as you can.

Practice and you'll be able to do it in public servers, all runs, during early game,with no problem

Obscure tips for sd:
Berserker sd's: m2ing instead of holding m1 will give u 2 hp for free, so do it if you are VERY CONFIDENT she is longshotting
Arbiter:I dont know if this guy explicitly said this, but arbiter has the same cd as sq's longshot. This is a good way to keep track of longshots and keep yourself in the fight if u have fracture
Tower lure: You can use tear gas as a substitute if you dont have a stunning ability
Behind mountain lure: Stay on the lower side of the 2 parts. If you get grappled, you can try to jump onto the higher side to make her terrible pathfinding run away. Watch out for her shelljump, though.
In general: the best melee weapon isnt the highest damaging ones, but the ones with 200% fracture wounding rating. It makes her light attacks do less than 8 dmg lmao. (Ex police baton, frying pan, firerier axe)
(Fracture doesn't apply to neither shellshots)
M2 is worse than M1 against such a fast parry recovery. And you shouldn't EVER get hit while fighting her, so fracture is redundant. But yes, arbiter does have the same longshot cooldown.
@mistermax2289 not with Maria or decimator (which Berserker usually use). I have tested it myself. Both deal more m2 dmg and u pretty much get a free heal. Remember, only when she long shots.

From what i remember ur not allowed to use equipment and stims are allowed only for damned (sd3)

You're allowed to use both auxiliaries and stimulants, however, you're not allowed to damage her with explosives, guns, or have other players assist you in any way.

Theres a specific tactic that can give you enough time before her guards come.
Certain places are unreachable for the raiders and will let you fight her in peace. I recommend watching a guide on how to lure her to one of those locations.
The last clip on the video features a Tower lure, which works because raiders are stupid and can't navigate around stairs properly, so you get the entire night for the fight, uninterrupted.
