Hi would you be able to please do a video on a jacking point on the honda Forza to do maintenance to get underneath the Forza 125 I know they have centre stands I wanted to know if it has a point where you can use a motorbike lift jack please

No idea mate I don't no longer have a jack lift but for what purpose if it was on a platform you would just use the centre stand and lift as normal

@@BigBoyzToyz1974 had a look seems there is two points underneath attached to the frame work next to the exhaust.
The back caliper seems very tricky to get into to change the brake pads no ?

    Hi.
    Great timing video regarding brakes.
My forza 125cc is due front and rear pads, 2021 model.
I notice your video is at this stage removing and replacing same, but if renewing do you need to bleed system as precautionary measures.???
Love the channel you already helped me with touch up paint one month later video.
    Cheers.

Cheers John 👍 Not necessary your fluid level will get low as the pads wear and pistons push out further but when new pads push the pistons back in the fluid will rise back to original level….but if not been changed for about 2 years I would recommend doing.

@@BigBoyzToyz1974 I uasaly change the fluids every 2 years as well the Forza service is 600mls 2000mls if needed then 4000mls then 8000mls I'm sure that's about right but most people do it every year

Was an interesting quick way but best the caliper is taken of the bike to clean the pistons as well maybe a full video on this but as you say it's for tutorial only brakes should idealy be done by a Honda dealer

    • @BigBoyzToyz1974
      @BigBoyzToyz1974  Před rokem

It's actually the way a garage does it they don't take the pistons out and clean them unless you ask for a full caliper refurb. Brake pads are a user serviceable item.

@@BigBoyzToyz1974 honda uasaly do a caliper service they wouldn't do it that way although your ways a way u can do it they don't do that

Bought my Forza from a Honda Dealer in Glasgow.
Told him when I booked the service would he do front brake pads, first bike so not experienced biker so thought must need to get Dealer to do pads as i get mechanic to do brakes on my car bit more to it.
The Motorcycle mechanic when I asked him to add front pads to the service looked at me with surprise and I Quote Surely you guys do pads and pistons yourself not that difficult. But dont tell my boss I told you that.
Now I know how to change calipers front and back Bleed front and back also.
Changed my front tyre removed wheel got torque settings for front wheel hub and caliper bolts.
All this from Watching videos like BiG Boys Toys and many others.
Serviced by dealer 600 miles 4000 miles and 8 000 miles.
That's a full service history when I sell.any maintenance up until I sel 0:07 l will be done by learning from others unless its covered by warranty.
U Tube is one hell of a learning class.
      ❤ It.

Once you have done it a few times it’s very easy I’ve fully restored a few bikes and most things are very doable by amateur mechanics
