- French IPSC nationals 2022 in Chateauroux, France.
24 stages shot over 2 days with a lot of moving targets and running involved. I dedicated a lot of time training for it and it paid off. We were just trading places between first and second with Sebastien for the whole 2 days and in terms of competition it was incredible.
Unfortunately we had to reshoot our first 2 stages of the morning and that penalized Seb way more than me.
This video led me to look up gun laws in France, I must admit for some reason I’m surprised, much better than Canada, especially now!
Can you not step out of the shooting area while traveling from one position to the other? Here in the US, shooting USPSA, you can "cut corners" as long as you only shoot from within the shooting area.
In IPSC you are only allowed to shoot and move inside the designated area. If you leave it, you have to re-enter it from where you left, if you don't or if you shoot outside, it's a penalty for every shot.
@roboshooting oh okay! That complicates things a bit then!
Great! What buffer do you use for the rifle?
Hydraulic buffer :)
Very nice shooting!! It seems you have some gas coming out of your compensator. Would you like to share what powder you are using and how much?
thx!
I am using nobel sport vectan a1. I don't remember the exact load, but I make 137,138 PF
Thank you for replying👍 I made a load with a bit faster powder and found no use of a compensator on the end of a 16 inch barrel. Do you use something like the Brekke compextension?
@@bjartenygard3162 Yea I use a comp really similar to it but without the extension part. Barrel is 12.5" and where I shoot we aren't restricted regarding barrel length.
Comp utility is up to debate for 9mm. :D
I know. I have a 16 inch barrel and tried a load @1300 f/s with and without a comp. I felt no difference in recoil. I’m curious if a 10,5 inch barrel and 6-7 grains of slow burning powder will feel different🧐
@@roboshooting c'est un adc competition ou super competition? En tout cas beau stage 👍🏻
a lot of runnig...maybe too much...
If that's how the stage is designed, it's inevitable.
