- I am not exactly sure how old this Drill Machine is. But i can say, it is at least 20 to 40 years old Version. It was a great fun for me to restore it so i decided to make a simple video to show how did i restore this machine.
I got this machine for an old machinery store it was totally jammed and the iron pieces were badly rusted. The body was made of Aluminium therefore i decided to do mirror polish on it. I did my best to make it perfect if you guyz like this video must appreciate my work by subscribing. Thanks for Watching the video and must share your worthy opinion. Watch the video just for fun.

my mind is just blown to think you have to understand and memorize which parts go into which places and make it all functional...truly professional.
I love the "worst restoration ever" series ;-) good job man, it's looking amazing :-)
Hey what's up bro? Good job on the vids
I never imagined to see such a high quality expert to be here, nice to see ya Mechanic
The best thing in your video that you don’t have any annoying music in the background just the sound of the tools, music to my heart ❤️. Thanks 🙏
i think its awesome when people restore old tools and preserve history those old tools aren't just tools they are pieces of history and some are even works of art if you just look at the way there made.
I SOOOOOO love the fact he does allllllll if these with just a drill hammer screw driver sandpaper and a couple of other little small odds and ends that EVERYONE has. Except for the baring puller ( which cost nothing) everyone has these tools. You sir are an inspiration to getting things done if you just try and are willing to learn.
You respect old things, we respect you. Hats off to you dude
Nice nickname xD
Oo hell yeah😂😂
If you respect him don't call him dude.
This guy has amazing skill, knowledge and patience! All I was doing was SMH wondering how the hell does he remember how to reassemble that thing!!! 👍
Rewatch the video and see the steps duh
The guy has the video showing him take it apart, that's the trick.
美丽ok
C. Nicholson 👍😇👀
I find it incredibly Zen to watch these restoration videos....
thank you for not playing annoying music.i enjoyed the video
i agree
No a my and ti
Agreed! I've always wondered why do so many people ad background music to their videos.
YESSSSSS YESSS YES😂 just yes!
@@philurbanski it's so annoying.
It's more than 40 years thats for sure great soldering & value vintage equipment
I dont know why I feel so satisfied after watching restoration videos I think I should change my profession. .
Good job with the resto, a tip for bearing installation.
If pressing a bearing into a housing use a socket that lines up with the outer race and hammer it in.
If pressing onto a shaft, use a socket that lines up with the inner race.
And use a vise instead of a hammer
You are a LITERAL perfectionist.........
It's amazing how you can remember what part goes where after taking it apart!!!
So really enjoyed this. A couple of things though: First; PPE, seriously man. I don’t know if you’ve got goggles but you should have, and I couldn’t hear a respirator, and you really need to use one when sanding. Look after your graph so you can keep doing project for years to come.
Second, get a heavy vice, that way you can hold components much more safely, and it’ll be easier to work on them. I cringed at the grinder work; no guard, no firm hold, no gloves. Some people say they do nothing, but I can tell you I’ve avoided injury by wearing gloves that offer decent protection without inhibiting my work.
As to the project, it looks great. The brazing work you did with the tools you have was awesome, and it’s always rewarding to see an old tool, discarded by someone, given a new life.
Thanks for the video, you got a sub from me.
5:12 chicken spirit was released from the ancient drill
Kkkk verygood comentari
😂😂😂😂😂😂
hahaha
Hahaha. So funny.
JA JA JA JA... GREAT!
Anyone else who find the noises coming from the part and gears and hammers just a bit satisfying??
Good job. I would have liked to see it painted but still a good job
Impressive job, resurrecting that drill. However, given that it's an all-aluminium body, your new cord really should have an earth conductor in it, lest you get a surprise.
Why you never see blacks posting videos like these
@@hallnoats4ever942 That's a remarkably racist statement.
hallnoats4ever are you responding to Op or is it just some statement ... however Channel owner isn't European..
Also a strain relief would have been a nice touch.
@Robert LaRoque nothing. If someone replied to him "they don't rebuild tools, if their drill dies they just steal another one". Then that would be racist.
I was all "WTF?" when you started reassembly without painting the housing, then all "ahhh!" when you polished it up at the end. Very nice.
I like your channel because you don't have the thousands of dollars in equipment to restore these tools, you make do with the basics.
9:30 thought I was about to see some lost fingers
09:38 I was like "there those fingers went" and I realized it went black to load the ad
Jw😝
video is edited to fast motion, in reality it is moving slow
Whatever that was at 5:12 scared my soul.
Same XD twice at 7:09
It is called ‘a rooster in 2x speed’.
Same
Someone was choking their chicken in the background
Speedy the rooster... :)
Incrible very good!!!
Wow! That is really impressive! I love the design of old equipment like that.
What a beautiful job! Only a real live wire would tackle something so complex! How you restored that hole in the casing was amazing! KAN
Watching restoration videos really relaxing. Nice job man.
Cool video.. You should replace that white cord with a grounded black cord with a strain relief. That metal case could light you up if there were a short inside.
Exactly what I was thinking!
Just a plain old damn good job friend. Loved the video too. Thank you
Awesome, that stator looked beyond salvation to me, how talented you are mate.
this is like a therapy, make me relax and encourage me to have my own workshop, i enjoy too much
Nice Work man. Super final effect! Thumb up!
I just knew you enhanced the rust , well done anyway
Hell yea
another old tool saved from the scrap yard well done you have inspired me to try the same, let's hope it does not blow up in my face
GREAT JOB MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You can't buy stuff like that anymore !
Impressive save. Course I wanted to see that old Jacob's chuck redeemed, but it might have been too far gone. Still with everything else. When you started polishing that case I was so happy. It looks awesome. #throwawaythethrowawayculture
5:42 The moment I say "Well it's time for a beer because I'll never remember how to put this back together."

He made neat piles for us to see.

I love your videos man, there is nothing better than bringing back a old piece of history, I really want to see you bring back like old military rifle or something like that.
